I still think Arsenal will finish above Spurs
It's kind of the Undefeated fighter syndrome, i won't believe it until i see it happening.
Spurs still managed to finish below them last season by losing 5-1 to a relegated team on the final day lol.
I simply don't trust that team.

No one should, it's Spurs. They'll find a way to not finish above Arsenal.

And then you'll see Arsenal fans celebrate as if they won back to back CL's

Finishing above Spurs is the most realistic joy we can dream of having while Wanker is around. Please don't shit on that

we'll let the facts speak for themselves, but you were wrong about Euro Max and the peptard comeback is onES wrote:BarrileteCosmico wrote:Can't wait for City to finish 2nd and ES to eat his words
Eat my words about what? That Pep is a fraud?
Finishing 2nd in a league where Ranieri actually won it in 2016?
Listen here perro, if anyone is gonna push and shove me, it certainly won't be you, dead men tell no tales, and there's certainly one dead man who hasn't told his tale yet
Up to him if he wants to just roll over and let it be, either way, his time is up, my time is now.

Manchester United have converted just 33 of a whopping 391 chances in the Premier League this season
I think this stat just blows out that idiotic 'United are unlucky' myth. At some point you are going to run out of that 'bad luck' too. They just have incompetent goalscorers bar one who also misses chances regularly.

People who have predicted Arsenal to not finish top 4 have come and gone in the thousands.
Wenger is still there, managing a CL team.
I get the impulse, but as I said in the Rumours thread earlier today. Wenger is continually underrated by everyone, at least regarding the consistency of league finishing. The reason is obvious, you'd expect someone who always comes 2-4th to win it at some point, and when he doesn't the thought that he's a failure takes hold more and more. It's inevitable.
However, finishing so high up is not an easy feat at all, as countless coaches experience, he still does it every year, with varying teams many of which have been considered comparably weak-arsed by the fan and media consensus.

That's a gross distortion of reality. That's not at all how Arsenal fans behave.
If anything, the negativity, resignation or gallows humour present in most of Arsenal fans' views on their club is in a stark misrelation to their average rate of success.
It's clubs like Spurs, Liverpool and United for whose fans finishing 4th is an earth shattering, celebration worthy achievement.
Arsenal fans take it for granted.

Sit down
We're not talking about 10-20 chances missed. We're talking about 300+ chances missed with an overall conversion rate of 8.44% which is atrocious for a team that boasts of some quality attacking talent. There's only thing you can conclude based on this stat and that United have poor finishers. Stop selling this unlucky BS.

Re: All Star Referee Premier League '16-'17 Discussion - Part 10
is a mixture of poor finishing and OP goalkeepers tbh
some lad had like 25 saves against us in one match
wish teams would roll over for us like they do for you, price you pay for being in the GOAT league I suppose

Agree with Surag tbh lol, when it consistently happens it's not luck it's bad finishing.
I remember having the same argument with Pool fans during that one season they hit the bar 30 times.
It's bad finishing not luck.
