Re: Club's new logo
Well here is why they choose 'J'
“I feel emotional every time I see the letter J in a newspaper headline. I immediately think of Juventus” -- Gianni Agnelli
#Juventus 1940s shirts....what people call the "old" badge actually came after the "J"....

Re: Club's new logo
Everything went wrong for me today
First thing in the morning i realize that i lost my wallet at some point yesterday, could not find it anywhere.
Around 10 a.m i crashed my car in the middle of nowhere because of the icy roads with (of course) no battery left in my phone. No money, no insurance papers, no phone... I had no clue of a solution so, being hungry AF, left my car there and decided to walk back home. Walked for 2 hours in a freezing -15°C with no hat or gloves, only to find out that i forgot my damn keys in my car smh
So i spent the day in my shed with nothing to pass the time. Then i arrive late at my job because of walking.
Now believe me, coming back home and seeing this shit logo, truly is the icing on the cake.
Is Jay-Z the new owner and i didn't get the memo ? It seems like Juventus wants to become more of a brand than a football club. This logo represents nothing, it's a decent lining at best. Even the little thots in your favourite nightclub have more personality than this two-lined J.
The "old one" has a lot of history, in my opinion changing it without warning is a huge disrespect to the fans and to the club in itself. Call me a fake Juventino idgaf, i'm disgusted and i'm down to sign a petition to remove this absolute piece of excrement.

To be honest, at first sight, it looks wrong, but then if you think harder, it is innovative as Andrew said. We will sell a lot, which is the most important thing in this case. I've seen a possible shirt for next year, and it looks BEAUTIFUL! It has like a gold lining. If someone finds it please post it! Is saw it on insta somewhere.
Yes this is the one! Looks so good!

Doesn't look too bad on this jersey. I think it would look great on polo shirts though imo. I think apparels and accessories is the area where this logo could click and people would buy them. Let's see.

Re: Club's new logo
All these shirts look good but where is the history of the club? where are the traditions? most importantly, where is the football? this doesn't look like a football crest at all. We'll all probably get used to it, but it was just unnecessary. The current one was perfect, and it had been adjusted just 10 years ago. It didn't look old fashioned or outdated, it looked like Juventus.

Re: Club's new logo
They want a new logo to lead us to a new and greater future. That future better start this summer with starts joining us instead of leaving. Otherwise idk how can a logo turn a limited team (2nd hand to some top teams) to a brand.
Bring us Verrati, Sanchez this summer and tie Dybala and other stars if you're really serious Agnelli.

i have no problem if they want to make more money selling polos, jerseys or whatever with the new J. They can create a company called Juventus with this logo.
JUVENTUS FOOTBALL CLUB, however must have a crest that's made for football. Did Man Utd, Barcelona, Real Madrid (all clubs that we can consider a "brand" change their main logo ? No they didn't because they respect their fans.
So sad this isn't all a dream

Re: Club's new logo
I think its a slight overreaction to something as simple as an emblem change to be honest. I kind of had a similar reaction but we must come to terms with it.
It's not like we renamed our club or changed our colours to black and blue, or relocated to a different continent
It's progressive and different, this part I don't mind. I am very sentimental so I will remain attached to the old badge, but it is what it is, maybe we'll have some fun looking shirts like the mock ups that have already been posted in this thread

Re: Club's new logo
oh i might be overreacting, in fact as a Juve fan you can now say i am Jverreacting
but tbh, i don't think i am. Fair enough for you if you are already use to it. But i'm not and if you look on social media most people are disliking it as well.
Will take me a long, long time to accept it. I mean, who even cares about the letter J ? What's the big deal with "J" so we BUILD our new identity around a simple letter ? That's as stupid as it gets.

Same as here, pretty much everyone agrees. Kind of bullshit to condense the logo into a J. People guessing it might work for their branding and whatever but that it just does away with too much and forgets the football.
At least thats what I get from italian papers (I'm not Italy anymore, back in Belgium).
