There is no clear plan to Farteta's recruitment. He now has 2 CFs of the same profile. Both short, not physical, not good in the air. Considering last season Arsenal just spammed crosses in the box, this signing does not make sense.

He's also signed another AM where he has Ødefaart and Croydon de Bruyne, while DM is still the position that needed strengthening. With Partey becoming injury-prone there is nobody to fill his absence, as it was last season.

Overall weird and clueless recruitment. He has spent a lot of money but hasn't got much to show for it. This season it has to be top 4 especially with Chelsea pretty much finished, or he must be shown the door.

When he joined City he had a lot of flair and trickery in him. Then he bulked up a lot and turned into a donkey with high workrate. He is better as RW than CF nowadays.
