That really didn't bother me. Made sense for an origin.
Either make it like that or a 100% in the past.
I saw a clip where they kept cutting between the animus and the past. Seemed too weird for me. Rather they stayed in there instead of cross cutting.

Your ignorant opinions? Curses
I liked Warcraft and couldn't give a shit about others' opinions on it. Maybe I'll enjoy this too.
If this movie is bad it's not because of it being a game. It's about everything and everyone making it.
Just read an interview with the director saying he hadn't played the games and that the movie was 100 minutes. Retarded to make such a short movie in this genre.
You call it ignorance but I'm right
There hasn't been one good game related movie to date and never will be due to the creative differences between the two.
People should stop trying imo, especially for big name franchises. Not like this film will make more money than the next game anyways.

So they've made great movies out of toys, board games and park rides. What makes games so much different?

Re: The Movie House - Part 9
Because the difference in writing a story for something based on a medium which will take 10 hrs minimum to complete for max 3 hours simply doesn't work.
You just can't do it and it feels incomplete, by that point it's completely pointless.
You can try to do an original story based on the IP in those 3 hours I suppose but by that point why even bother? You are limiting yourself and most likely it will suck by comparison.
There's just no real creative advantages to doing this and all you get are half assed jobs that nobody wants.

Re: The Movie House - Part 9
it was never worth it in the cinema unless you are a massive fan of AC.
Watch Rogue One instead. Even if you don't like star wars, it's worth worth it as a stand alone.

I know. But even if you know it's a star wars film (it won't feel like it is), it's still worth it if you have nothing else to watch.
You've probably seen far worse films in cinema.

I'm not short of options. Just means I have to replace Assass Creed with something else. Still haven't seen Manchester By the Sea. Most likely replacement.

Just came from it. Still not the biggest fan, but Rogue One is the best Star Wars film I've seen.

So it has nothing to do with the original Star Wars, then what is it about?

It helps you understand the motifs of the rebellion in episode 4 better.

Really? They literally commited a genocide in episode 4. Didn't really get more understanding as much as a more personal angle of what the Empire is.
Anyways McAgger should give it a chance. I doubt he'll like it though.

Don't call me James wrote:This actually sounds like the only SW film I would like.
Go watch it then. It's not much about force and Jedi etc. it's more of a war heist movie

Not when you have Donnie "badass" Yen mantra'ing "The force is with me. I am in one with the force."
That shit was powerful.

Watched Gran Torino, as I said earlier Eastwood as director is really growing on me. Regarding movie, liked it maybe not loved it but it is a damn good movie with some fine performances especially Eastwood as old tough guy.

Starting in 2019, if Your Film Isn’t Diverse, It Won’t Be Eligible for a BAFTA Award
Pretty bold move on their part. Especially considering how noninclusive other art forms in the UK are(Theater).

BAFTA will also remove the requirement that newly admitted voters be recommended by two existing members.
