She's 18 but already looks like a 38 suburban housewife
Show seems like a Stranger Things ripoff frankly

I don't think you can call anything a Stranger Things ripoff considering how derivative that show was to begin with.
It look another show inspired by Stephen King though. Seems like it's much more centered on the teenage experience and actual drama than rehashing the same dumb monster bullshit.

What I mean is that I think "I Am Not Okay With This" is capitalizing on Stranger Things' recent success by steering in the same direction.
I'm sensing a very similar vibe essentially and will definitely not touch it until ST is wrapped up.

Feels more like a supernatural continuation of The End of the Fucking World for me (Same creator, so it makes sense). It's very much part of what Netflix is going for though. Teen shows and supernatural teen shows. They put that stuff out like crazy.
This seems

i see The End of the Fucking World vibes as well.
By the way, how was the second season of that show, i usually detest teen dramas these days, but i enjoyed that one, mainly also because of the short run time for the episodes

I thought the first season of Altered Carbon was kinda meh. I'll probably give the second one a try though.
Is Drive to Survive worth checking out?

I liked it, it gives you a lot of access into the behind the scenes of F1 teams and is very accessible to newcomers to the sport, although you have to be OK with some fabricated drama for the sake of entertaining, and the show definitely plays favorites. Not sure how true that is in S2 though.

I hate manufactured drama. I remember Project Greenlight had the same bullshit. I might still give it a shot though. It sounds interesting.

"THIS IS NOT OK"
7 episodes, 20 minutes per episode?
Am I supposed to wait a whole year for 140 minutes of material?
It's definitely "not ok"

Oh yeah i got lost in translation
Not a totally bad show, watchable
But 20 mins per episode with 7 episodes in the season almost made me not watch it

Thought it was a pretty good Carrie remake. That’s how it should be done

People need to watch Tiger King. Netflix have done it again. 7 Episode docuseries that's sheer insanity and Breaking Bad level - just real.

Re: The Official Netflix, Disney+ and Amazon Thread
Watching Ozark. Avoided it for years because I thought it was a Breaking Bad knock off. And that's exactly what it is. Doesn't hold a handle to it.
But it's still pretty entertaining.

I'm curious should we have a Disney Plus thread now it's in more regions? Came out in the UK today.
