The only difference between release Crysis is a texture mod. That's it, no lighting shaders etc.

And to think that MW was released the same week and got remade this year*. 2:37 onwards to be wowed. (Watch in 1440p though, compression on the 1080p version loses all the detail)

Too bad it hasn't played by many people - It's only equals in review scores by PC Gamer with 98% are Half-Life 2 and Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri

There's like 17 classics in the top 21, what a year in PC gaming alone , it was an epic year for consoles games as well

2007 was indeed a great year for gaming. Its also the year that I decided to get an Xbox 360 and a gaming PC instead of PS3 because of Halo, Gears Of Wars, Mass Effect, BioShock, Orange Box, World In Conflict, Crysis etc. Sony is lucky they got BioShock and Mass Effect later. Bought 360 in 2008 and it RROD'd in 2011

2010 was insane as well, RDR, Halo Reach, ME2, Heavy Rain, Alan Wake, GOW 3, Borderlands, FFXIII, FIFA 11, Limbo, Vanquish (underrated gem, not sure if anyone played it)

2015 and 2016 have been amazing years too tbh

but yeah 2007 and 2010 are def stand out years last gen

Anyway 2010 is the GOAT over the last 10 years IMO.

2011 was pretty great too. Skyrim, Uncharted 3, Portal 2, Arkham City, Deus Ex, LA Noire, Gears of War 3, Witcher 2, Crysis 2, Minecraft, Gears Of War 3, Dead Space 2, FIFA 12

enjoying the last guardian so far, nice atmosphere, only played about 60-90 mins, graphics look a lot better than I thought they would in game, nice aesthetic

Gonna buy it over Christmas.

Does those docs spoil the game at all Phritz? i haven't started it yet.

2nd one goes pretty in depth about the first level, since that's the one they struggled with but it's Doom, there's nothing really to spoil lol* (Heck one of the post final boss scenes is in the launch trtailer and no one gives a shit) 1st one is how they almost took the path every other studio followied in that Era, they almost made a Call of Doom game.

1st doc is ok, 2nd doc is pretty awesome. I love Hugo, he's my new id hero

either the last guardian got a patch on release or reviewers grossly misrepresented its technical issues

runs like a dream for me, probably 80% through too, only noticed some minor, brief frame drops in a couple areas

some reviews I read made it sound like the game barely ran in places ffs

great game btw, could easily see it being my GOTY if it has a strong ending

that said, 1000000% not something I would recommend to 75% of gamers
