I'm good
not sure I'm gonna like it anyway, might be something I pick up after ME and Horizon

It's really good IMO, although there are some negatives.
P2P in 2017Micro Transactions effects 4 v 4 quite a lot, people paying for better gear etc etc. Although Gear doesn't count in 1 v 1 and 2 v 2 and it's all skill in those modes.
It can be quite a frustrating game at times, which means i'll probably go periods taking breaks from it so i don't go insane.
Game is very fun most of the time though, outside of those issues.
Microtransactions in games has never been more relevant than it is, these days, with the big publishers getting greedier every year. I really had my doubts about the game, after I read that you could buy non-cosmetic things for money. I've already decided to get it, though. None of the purchasable items are exclusive to cash spenders, right?

I don't think so, you just get stuff faster.

Or, you could just prioritize and purchase one game at a time and play it through to the end before you move on to another game

Re: General Games Discussion
I generally do finish games before moving on nowadays, nowhere near as bad as I used to be, especially on release of PS4
problem is I also buy too many games I think I'll enjoy and then they don't hold my interest or I've played so many games I'm insanely burnt out
far too many super long games in succession lately
FFXV I played for like 70-80 hours, Yakuza would have been another 50 hours and that was daunting, Nioh was about 25-30 hours, Horizon probably gonna be 30 hours from what I read, Mass Effect probably similar
then maybe Persona if I don't want to quit gaming after that until FIFA 18

Re: General Games Discussion
considering TW3 is probably my favorite game of all time I really should get around to B&W properly soon
I think it's that this way I feel like there's always another adventure there for me

Re: General Games Discussion
I'll be surprised if you enjoy the Expansions as much as me and RG though tbh.
Part of the reason i like them so much is the vast improvement in boss fights and enemy design, don't get me wrong the quests and story is still the no 1 thing to play them but i couldn't imagine playing some of those fights on anything less than Death March tbh.
I'll be interested to see what you think when you finish them eventually though

Re: General Games Discussion
It was like a standalone game lol. Was massive. If it wasn't a DLC then that was my GOTY.
Loved everything about it. So *bleep* impressed with how much effort they put in a DLC.
Can't wait for cyberpunk

Re: General Games Discussion
@Firenze
Nioh is hard as hell. Some of the submission in region 2 are significantly harder than the main ones for me, but at least the rewards are big. They are throwing new Yokai at me all the time. First the griffon looking guy with the wings and a staff, then a dual wielding Yokai, and now a floating blue fairy looking thing with insane range that killed me in like 2 swipes.
Against the griffon (who comes after you are forced to fight like 10 other Yokai in the place where you kill Umi) I eventually said *bleep* it and just unloaded all my throwing items on him and killed him without engaging. 10+ shuriken, 10+ kunai and like 5 bombs

Re: General Games Discussion
You know in TLG, there was this glass painting on the floor. I asked Trico to destroy it. Not sure if I should have done that lol?

Re: General Games Discussion
@Rincon, I actually think Region 2 was where I started getting a grip on the game and found it easier than Region 1 tbh. Region 3 onwards I was OP thanks to magic but Region 5 and 6 are ridiculous and enemies are OP AF. Those 'griffon things' (Raven Tengu) remain OP though, I never managed to find out what their weakness was, they have insane HP. The floaty blue fairy things aren't that tough either, they have an easy to avoid moveset IMO. That said I was using a spear which is good for kiting enemies, you still using Kusarigama?
The multi-color eye glass things RG? if so you are supposed to destroy those throughout the game

Region 1 I thought the main missions were hard and the sub missions were pretty relaxing. This time its the opposite, I don't think I struggled in a main mission in region 2 except for bosses, but the sub ones are way harder.
