Enjoyed the faster pace of the second half. The bridge sequence, hotel, and the Bloater-Stalker hybrid boss fights were amazingI like the gameplay being different with Abby with her not being just a reskin but having her own unique abilities and weapons.
Oh and there is a transexual character in the game but did not see any hate on him online because incels who hate on the game without playing it don't even know about him because they have not played the game

The first half of the game is one of the best games that I have ever played. I won’t get into it too much since I believe most people agree. Joel dying was brutal to watch but it made sense, and I knew it would happen in this game after the shitty things he did in the first game.
As for the second part of the game, once Abby’s story takes over I didn’t enjoy it as much. It has nothing to do with the story or the character as I thought it was quite interesting. And I enjoyed seeing the other side and how they see Ellie. I enjoyed the Yara/Lev characters a lot.
What I didn’t enjoy was having to build my character from the beginning, even if it was different. I felt the game was close to ending, I finally found Abby after searching and searching but then the momentum is killed and we have to play from the beginning witg another character and it kept going and going and going. The story/visuals/characters were great but I couldn’t wait to return playing as Ellie. Maybe that’s stupid but that’s how I felt. I think the Abby part could’ve easily been another game “The Last of Us 3” and it would’ve been fantastic, but I didn’t enjoy shoehorning it into this game.
It’s still easily a 8.5 at least for me and overall a great experience, with the visuals, music, and combat that this game offers.

- Hated the theater boss fight. I was convinced I was gonna kill Ellie. Had to put down the game before manning up. Thank God Ellie did not die.
Santa Barbara was a welcome change of scenery. I was getting tired of Seattle. Would like the third game cover more of the West Coast, I feel there is tons of potential with that setting.
I knew Ellie would spare Abby to mirror the theater fight.The farm level and final Joel flashback were the highlights of the endgame.
I replayed TLOU 1 right before 2 and that game is comfortably better. Was much tighter and complete narratively. Still, this is quite easily a really good game too and the second half is nowhere near as bad as most people (who I have no doubt did not play the game) claim.

Been thinking a lot about this game, its been stuck on my mind for a while. Despite the the controversy, whether it is acceptable or not, it is still a memorable experience and has been lingering on my mind for the past 2 weeks
