no. I'm implying that dumb people don't become a billionaire businessman and the president of the usa in one life time. this guy did both and yet we have GL posters telling us how dumb he is. how many of the super intelligent posters on this forum will do that.

He's an idiot, there isn't much debate. He started out rich and grew his wealth (I think there are questions about how much debt he's in). Well done on that but he's had plenty and I mean PLENTY of failures, I don't think US banks even loan to him.

And you don't need to be smart to become US president, especially when widespread misinformation from Russians and the right wing and Russian hacking played so prominently this election. Voter ID laws and voter suppression in places like my home state occurred as well. That's all without mentioning he lost the popular vote by 3 million people.

The guy repeatedly referred to "Nambia" bro. He's a complete dunce. I understand he speaks to a simple guy like you, but to most people, it's easy to tell he's an idiot.

You forgot that most GL posters haven't started out with millions upon millions of dollars and grew up extremely wealthy with good connections out of the gate. Without that, stop comparing us to this idiot we're all comfortably more intelligent than.

Trump is proof of just how far money will get you in society. He was a trouble maker as a kid, and he is abnormally unintelligent. I wouldnt be shocked if every person on here(bar Pedram) is smarter than him.

He is clever though. Holding a rally in Alabama last night and calling Black NFL players protesting SOBs was very clever. He plays the race game as good as anybody since Reagan.

Don't get me wrong i'm sure he has his strengths but yes both of his achievements, which are huge achievements no doubt, are massively down to him being handed life on easy mode with the opportunities that come with family wealth and connections.

There's plenty of people who would have taken the Million dollars and pissed it up so there's that, but i'm sure plenty of people here on GL would have their own great achievements if handed today's equivalent of 1M USD

Arnold Schwarzenegger was elected governor of California back in 2010, as well. Who cares about credentials, when you have money and celebrity status?

And all the arguments Unique thinks applies to Trump actually only applies to Arnold. He is an actual selfmade person. He's also an actual real Republican which only a handful of the current ones are.

I talked to a few Californians back when Arnold was still their governor, and most of them were happy with what he'd done. From what I can tell, Arnold wasn't a bad governor at all, but from what I gather, his election was initially more a result of his "cool factor" appeal than it was him being the most suitable candidate in the eyes of the people who actually cared about politics to some extent.

Trump is clearly not an idiot, he's ignorant. There's a difference. And TBF I don't think 51% of Americans could tell you whether it's Nambia or Namibia.

The man is a goddamn moron. He has no knowledge of national or world politics. He does not understand this country's economy. He is willfully ignorant of how this country fits into the world on several levels. He has no understanding of diplomacy. He does not understand anything remotely related  to doing this job except that he does understand the one truth of politics: say what the masses want to hear and they'll love you for it.

That's how he got elected. That small bit of knowledge does not make up for the colossal lack of intelligence he has displayed time and again.

No one wants to believe they are a moron, but it doesn't change the fact that they are one. Trump's a moron and outside of a massive epiphany......nothing or no one will change that.

Yeah. Usually, if you call someone "moron", "idiot", "stupid", "acting like an 8 year old", etc, these are always to some degree hyperbolic or metaphorical statements.
In the case of Trump, they are not.

The more we see him acting in office, the clearer it becomes that he is an actual, literal moron and idiot, that he is really unbelievably stupid and literally has the attention span, emotional economy and behavioural patterns of an unstable 8 year old boy, while his intellectual capacities are more those of an 3 year old.

It's not an exaggeration. The US, as far as the commander-in-chief is concerned, are literally an idiocracy.

Their point is to that they won't stand for an anthem when they aren't equal in the eyes of the people running their country.

It has nothing to do with their love for america, the troops or the flag. It's a peaceful protest aimed at the racists in charge of the country.

The fact it has been such a big issue only proves their point in kneeling.
