Absolute joke
I'm not even being biased either. Barca stonewall penalty and onside goal waved off. Spurs, I don't mind Mike Dean calling that a penalty on Spurs but if you're doing that then call it on the other end too, there is no doubt about it.
Been an awful day. Waiting for Madrid to rob the Madrid derby to top it off

In what world is that Janssen hold a penalty and then that one on Kane just now not?

Re: English Premier League '16-'17 Discussion - Part 6
Shirt pulling in the penalty area is the most inconsistently applied rule in football. Refs are very selective about which they punish and which they don't.
Dean has given eight pens for shirt pulling this season, far more than any other ref, yet likely still far less than the number of shirt pulling incidents that went unpunished.

Great Leader Sprucenuce wrote:Yeah but consistently he's not playing instead of Silva if he were to play so your argument is moot.
He'd play instead of De Bruyne or someone else in a deeper role, and his laziness across the board would be a big factor.
Also it's not bullshit, don't change history because he happened to score today he's a lazy albeit talented pos who has cost City games defensively many, many times since the season where he was unplayable and scored 20+ goals.
One of the most annoying things about the internet is how people tend to forget everything that has happened when one positive thing happens and throw everything else out the window like it never happened.
Come on, if any other midfielder - or even a striker - was coming on to play his first game of the season and scored two goals - his team's only goals - we'd be hailing his impact in unison. But because he's supposedly been in the naughty corner for non-football reasons we are supposed to play cool his impact? Get real
Sure, he's not defensively the best midfielder, but when's that become so overrated anyway? Midfield workhorses like Ramires and Paulinho are applying their trade in f***ing China nowadays
While Yaya just coolly steps in and wins a Premier League game for Man City. Against none else but the genius Pardew no less

Love Pool fans selective memory. Spurs were the most entertaining team in the league last season. That's not me saying that, that was the collective opinion during the season.
Spurs haven't been great this season, I don't think anyone is denying that, but when Spurs are fit and able to play their best XI, there is no denying Spurs are one of the most entertaining teams in the league.
Regardless, gotta thank you Unique. You rightly pointed out my frustration and bad luck today and reverse jinxed the result

Good result today yeah but Spurs have still been a bit underwhelming this season.
The performance this game wasn't even that great. I disagreed with the lineup from the start but credit to Poch he changed the lineup, adapted, and Spurs won because of the subs.
