Re: Call of Duty> You Thread.
I didn't pre-order it, but I've watched quite a few streams by now. The game kind of looks like Battlefield 3. I don't know why they keep talking about going back to the barebones gameplay of the older games, yet still, decide to add redundant features like making the UAV a killstreak. The time to kill is supposedly similar to that of MW3, which I personally appreciate, but the movement is quite a bit slower for whatever reason. I don't think I'll ever again enjoy Call of Duty maps as much as I enjoyed the maps in MW2 and even MW3. They've completely strayed away from those designs, and the designers are at Respawn entertainment now, so fuck salt.

Did you get the game? The maps seem so unappealing to me. I wanted to like this game, but I can’t imagine I would enjoy playing it. I’d rather play any of the FIFAs to be perfectly honest.

People complaining online about how trash the MP is
Dunno why anyone is surprised tbh, games have been shite for years and 5 minutes of beta is all you need to see this is no different.
It shocks me how people keep believing every year and on day 1 realize they played themselves yet make the same mistake the next year.

Alpha out on PS4
First game and i’m already hooked.
First game in MW and knew it was below average despite it’s pretty graphics.

Thought the game was pretty fun all things considered, which is more than i can say for Modern Warfare.
Miami is a turbo trash map mind, fortunately with map vote back I'll be surprised if i get the full game i won't see it much.

Last winter i played the new Modern Warfare on my roommate's Xbox One, it's hilarious how you can destroy noobs with rocket launchers and long range shotgun... especially the latter. Those weapons are cheated to an extreme level, even more than the AK74u in Black Ops
I've not played the campaign yet, it's not even worth it ? MW1-3 were good

I’m going to try this game out tonight. I’m starting to feel a bit too old for these twitch shooters, though

Cold War actually looks better than most recent COD games.

We could've had a GL party and despite carrying Thimmy who's supposedly so fkg old ... we could totally wreck the rest of the world

Re: Call of Duty> You Thread.
I turn 32 in a few weeks. Not exactly in my prime by CoD standards. I noticed that I started struggling a bit in CoD already when I was in my late 20s, and I haven’t had much interest in the franchise since then. I can’t even point out exactly how I’ve gotten worse at these games, but everyone I used to play CoD with when I was in my early 20s say the same thing. Aging sucks

Re: Call of Duty> You Thread.
We did have a GL party back in the PS3 days.
Me, Thimmy, MT, Versacci. Some of the SnD games were wild.

A slump in COD happens to everybody.
It depends on your style of play i suppose... if you rely mostly on 1v1 reflex then maybe as you got old you lost that essential ½ second. It's never been the best strategy anyways, you get caught in the back too often, it's annoying
And yes RG it's me who's late who was your best player

It's not that mate. It's more to do with you not being as much into shooters as before. Have you ever seen COD tournaments? people as old as 40 play with spiderman-esque reflexes lol.
Your brain controls your reflexes. I mean Souls game require more muscle memory and reflexes than any cod game and mine and old man firenze's is as good as it was 8 years ago. No change.

Yes i agree, it's more the lack of practice that makes you a bit rusty and not do your peak potential. True for most things

Reflexes isn’t the problem. My reflexes have always been above average, and I believe that hasn’t changed all that much. There are probably several things that have declined, but what stand out to me is that I can’t seem to focus on my surroundings as well as I used to, and my muscle memory has gone to shit.
I remember doing a warm-up match with Versacci in MW1 remaster, and I didn’t feel warmed up at all when we went into SnD. It just takes a lot longer nowadays

Oh i don't disagree lol, while i enjoyed the games i played with Versacci i was complete trash lol.
I've definitely lost something compared to MW2/BO1 days, reactions is probably part of it but there's probably more to it than that.
But i don't get the impression that my individual performance is tied to my enjoyment despite all that.

Part of what used to make me hyped about playing CoD was that I was quite dominant at it. I don’t feel like I’m in control of the result anymore, and that’s quite demotivating. Don’t think I’ll ever enjoy playing a game online that I suck at, and witnessing my gradual decline in these games has been more frustrating than fun.

Might just play it on PS3 again if it's not remastered soon.
