But in online it will literally force me to bully people from ever playing the game again.
I would literally never leave people alone for the entirety of 8 hour night sessions.
The more I think about this the more I want it to actually happen tbh.

If that were true I would aim only for horses
Feel like everyone else would too tho
Which would eventually mean most people are out of a horse....and all of a sudden the areas where you can wrangle a horse are large battlefield bloodbaths

So you're saying I need to position my home as close as possible to the main horse area in order to be prepared and slaughter entire lobbies full of unaware noobs.

Re: Red Dead Redemption 2
The horse thing really could be a tingle moment.
I remember when I was a kid there was a free MMORPG called Graal online...which was pretty much just a ripoff of SNES Zelda online.
I used to go around randomly killing people until one day a guy said:
"You ruin the fun of this game for me"
Why, I do believe I just nutted in my pants reading that back then...and still do today.
Online games are only fun if you can totally ruin someone elses day. Camping as a sniper in COD is another way I used to do it.
Thats the fun of the game.

I mean I have waited 8 years to be able to lasso randoms online and leave them in the middle of nowhere to think about their life choices.
I think I may have to accept my natural destination as massive dickhead tbh.

I mean it was really just common courtesy, growing up on Halo, for someone to tea bag your body after killing you tbh. And for you to do to them, as well
Disrespect and trying to anger others online really is where much, or at the very least, some of the fun is at

It's killing me. Should I get RDR2 or wait for a PC version that might come out at some point next year?

Re: Red Dead Redemption 2
I got so hyped that i decided to say *bleep* it and got PS Now to play Red Dead
Trying out the online and it actually works lmao! there's only like 6 people in the lobby but it works lol.
Just doing gang hideouts atm trying to rank up so i can better steeds and weapons.
The game started me with that donkey lmao, picked the crazy lunatic Seth as my character and i didn't realise he had his own quotes on the circle button.
My favourite has to be while you shoot at them " go ahead run just like my daddy did !"
I genuinely might play this for a while lmao.

If you are wondering why he has some thick ass beard in the first pic it's because you can grow it out and some goes for normal hair.
I wonder what the limitations are there, which I plan to do as clean shaven is pretty boring tbh
Like these ones too

Didn't realise this saved my PS Now file from when i had a free trial lol.
Straight into Mexico
Also the Bolt Action Rifle ffs, the vibration in the PS4 controller kicks back as you shoot....
Nothing in GTA competes with this.

Was more talking about the way the guns feel to shoot.
Guns in GTA do not feel like this, in fact a lot of them feel weightless.
I agree with you tbh just making that part clear.

Re: Red Dead Redemption 2
Anyone else a bit uneasy about this whole Morgan character being our character though?
Don't get me wrong, I'm glad that we have a whole new character to play, blank slate and all.
But if they guy is as important as he is (Dutch's right hand man, enforcer in the gang, etc), I can't figure how Rockstar is going to manage to portray that without it being somewhat awkward that he has absolutely zero references in RDR.
It's not important enough for me to care very much about, but it does seem awkward to me.

Re: Red Dead Redemption 2
As long as the story is told correctly I'm fine with it.
Tbh the only thing I don't want to see is him die, as long as that doesn't happen I'm cool as it would seem way too predictable.
Sure he wasn't mentioned in RDR but there's plenty of time between the two games for him to die which are unrelated to the 2 games.

In RDR I assumed Dutch's gang was just the four of them with Abigail as a prostitute they all banged. There was zero reference to it being this huge posse. Thats the thing with prequels, retcons are almost unavoidable though this one is not really a retcon.

Might be a case of end game story takes the main character down a path away from the gang, meaning he's irrelevant to RDR.

Like that as well tbh, like I said as long as it's not " lul prequel so must die ending " I'm good.

That's true, and a good point. I think the sticking point for me on it was that we're going to have an entire game based around Arthur, and he seems to have been a very important member. His existence in and of itself isn't necessarily awkward (as you point out, there are other characters that have been revealed who we don't know about), but his importance to the game relative to the zero amount of knowledge we have of him from RDR. However, it is a prequel and this is certainly expected, and it's a fair argument to acknowledge that he could be an important character who eventually leaves America altogether, goes out East, dies or is no longer relevant, and thus John doesn't feel any sort of need to bring him up. The only members we hear about are the ones directly relevant to RDR.
I agree with Mole, too, that I would dislike an ending where Arthur dies. Especially with people speculating that we'll have Arthur die and then play John at the end. That would be tacky to me, predictable, and too much fan service. I don't think Rockstar will go that route, though.
Also, just watched the third trailer again. I have to say, the first couple times I watched it I was so invested in picking out the details and taking the trailer apart, I never really sat back and judged/watched the trailer as a whole, just enjoying it.
What a *bleep* trailer. It's honestly one of the better trailers I've seen in quite a while. It doesn't give away too much while certainly making the plot clear, it illustrates a different side of Arthur we hadn't seen before (his inner conflict, trailer #2 certainly makes him seem more like a baddie than anything), and it's action packed with wonderful music that builds really well up to the end.
