He's absolutely 100% right about formations are only for when you lose the ball and with the ball they can be anything.

Who else, in the PL right now, has this charisma and evident insight, when they talk?
Who else could have talked an hour about tactics and formations and held the interest right through?
Honest question, not rhetorical, btw.

Shame he talked about Liverpool too much. Would have preferred him talking about more general football like he was doing in the last 15-20 mins

With Carragher there, it was bound to be Liverpool-centric.
I was actually happy about it. If he had to talk about other teams, guys like Mourinho would have jumped at the chance to call him voyeur or some BS.
I love how down to earth he is, always saying 'Who am I to say this is the best, or that is the best' and stuff like that.

He's managing Liverpool, I think that has more to do with it then Carra being there.

I'm sure there's a few that could, they just wouldn't want to lol.
Where as Klopp genuinely looked like he was enjoying himself.

Fergie was interested and sent him a letter of encouragement after he got injured IIRC
glad we stayed away as he's like 28-29 now and obviously not a top talent, forgot he joined burnley

Not really. Nothing special. Another Jack Cork, Jake Livermore, Ashley Westowood type player. Your regularly run of the mill midfielder. He just so happens to be Belgian and used to play for Porto so he'll get some hype.

Klopp overdid the dyeing job there. Very unnatural yellowish blonde
Pretty cringy stuff, on the whole. That mythic, historic victory over Hull and its many tactical relevations
