Watched 6 eps and retired. Main guy was one of the most annoying main character i've ever seen.

Re: The TV Series Thread - Part 5
From what little I remember about Lucy, it was ok but the main character was not nearly dark enough for me to hook me to a show called Lucifer.
If you're gonna have the lead character be the actual personification of Evil, the ruler of hell, he can't come across as an annoying comedy relief partner ffs.

El Gunner wrote:Started BoB and went up to 2 episodes and half, I didn't get the hype really. Maybe I'm just not in the war mood. Will leave it for some other time in the far future.
Watch more episodes, first 3 or 4 episodes are mostly character introduction.
Anyway i'm currently watching The Americans, feeling disappointed after watching 8 episodes, i was hoping the show was more about spying and the cold war politics, but it's mostly about personal and romantic relations between couples.
I will try to finish season one and see how it goes from there.

VP is legit lmao, need more adult themed comedies and shows in general. Swearing makes it so much more relatable (Swear that's a word and chrome is chatting shit) in general too.
I always crease up watching TV when a character who's really angry says heck and stuff like that, takes me out of it.

This is almost too bad to be true. Someone at FOX is really taking the piss
Sauce - http://www.darkhorizons.com/king-arthur-is-a-cop-procedural-in-camelot/
FOX is teaming with Gail Berman and Joe Earley to develop “Camelot,” a TV series that reimagines the legendary stories of King Arthur in a police procedural.
When an ancient magic reawakens in modern-day Manhattan, a graffiti artist named Art must team with his best friend Lance and his ex-girlfriend and idealistic cop Gwen in order to realize his destiny and fight back against the evil forces that threaten the city.
Yes this is serious. FOX scored the drama in a competitive situation with a script plus penalty commitment. Dan Frey and Ru Sommer (“Bleeding Kansas”) created the project and will pen the script as well as executive produce alongside Berman and Earley.

One episode away from finishing Band of Brothers, will do so tomorrow.
What an incredible series, but it's so heavy and so intense. I'm glad I'm limiting myself to one episode per day, I don't want to do anything after watching "Why We Fight". I'm never quite sure how to accept that this series is based on the reality of World War II and isn't from the mind of some twisted pos
What a disgusting war. Humans are truly despicable

You guys should watch The Pacific after finishing BoB, not as good as BoB, the story isn't focused on a single unit or division like the Easy Company but it's darker and more depressing and it's really good at showing the brutality of war.

I'll try and get to it someday. School is starting up so I'm likely to have to wait until December to get back to any shows (well, given my track record so far).

Watched 3 episodes of Stranfer Things now. The fact that the main teen actress is anorexic really bothers me. Great kids though. Especially the bald boy who is apparently a girl. The Down syndrome kid is also fun.

Donald Glover is a genius imo. Atlanta is great and it just feels so real. Keith Stanfield is absolutely incredible. Funniest character all year.
