Re: General UK politics
I don’t. Another referendum would, but that does look like it will happen. If there were 3 parties saying one for staying in EU, one saying leave with a deal and the other saying leave without a deal, then maybe, but again I don’t think that would happen.
The best hope with current numbers is for the opposition to push for a referandum!

Re: General UK politics
Yes another election is essential as this parliament has run itself to the ground. But the question is, will it make much difference? The new parliament (composition) will be more of less the same with perhaps some more Libs and some less Tory and Labors.Art Morte wrote:They need that election, imo, this parliament isn't going to agree on anything.

Re: General UK politics
Boris desperately wants a General election (which is so he can combine Tories with the brexit party and have a majority again in the government)
But the opposition don't want it anymore because they see his move clearly
Boris can force this through parliament but the issue is....he has asked for the parliament to be suspended so he can't do that anymore lol

Boris Johnson has lost 5 of his first 5 commons votes, the first PM in history to do so. He takes the title away from previous record holder Boris Johnson, who lost 4 of his first 4.

I could easily have a 32 hour work schedule most full-time jobs. So many people waste so much time doing nothing at their jobs because "they have to be there"
Not the case every time, but often it is. At least office jobs. Limiting the work period for jobs like that can only be healthy. Humans are not meant to sit for 8+ hours each day in the same position.
