Idiotic if they do, he's not very good.

Yea he is not. But because he is English and because his replacement Bravo has been well.. Laughing , his stock is once again high right now. Also helped by the fact no one watches Serie A really. Hehe. Read a couple of days ago (on-you-know-where) that some United fans wanting him when DDG 'surely' leaves for Madrid in the coming window. Proud

BS. Plenty of people out there spending their weekends watching Torino take on Cagliari or Empoli in front of 27 fans.

Hasn´t been doing particularly well. Not the source of Torinos problems at the back, but not a guarantee either. Last night draw with Inter was on him, both goals he conceeded were avoidable. Not one of the better keepers in the league this season.

Torino president Urbano Cairo admits that Joe Hart's mistakes were an issue this season for his club.

“Hart made a few mistakes, especially when coming out for the ball,” Cairo is quoted as saying by Football Italia. “He is an important goalkeeper. We probably didn’t expect so many mistakes from an England international… but he did some good things, too.”

can't wait for Newcastle to sign him

I hope we get someone better than him Laughing

But i wouldn't be mad at it either because our keepers are trash, he'd still be better than what we have.

Joe Hart has gone from being overrated to criminally underrated. Yes he has made mistakes in Torino yet they have been magnified given his hype and the language barrier initially (despite his superb initiative to learn Italiano) caused a lot of confusion in goal and sometimes other just plain mistakes yet as Cairo said other games he has single-handedly saved Toro many times this season and saying his loan spell not being a success is way off-the-mark as if said then it'll be the usual suspects who want Hart to fail.

He is open to staying in Torino given the right offer yet I don't think Cairo will try that yet much respect to Joe who pulled a ballsy move 90 percent of English players wouldn't do, (looking at the pussy crock Wilshere) and its improved him and especially his ball-playing-skills quite a lot.

He hasn't been terrible but he hasn't been good enough to warrant any kind of big move from Torino who would have to stretch their budget to afford it. In most games where he had great saves he would also leak easy goals.

To compare it to another EPL loanee, Szczezny has been much better.

In fairness, This is Sczesney's 2nd year in Italy so the usual barriers which could apply to Hart he's probably overcome by now.

If memory serves he was a lot worse in his first season, not really trying to make excuses because i don't really rate Hart but just saying.

Its not just issues with the language barrier and communicating to his defenders, its just too many mistakes with shots he should save. We don't have to look back, even just today he got embarrassed against Napoli. He is just not a particularly good GK.

Szczęsny a good example who was hit and miss in the beginning of his Serie A loan with Roma but has turned out to be a rock in Roma.

Hart is more or less either frustrating but other times absolutely spectacular but no doubt he has grown during the season in result and as a goalkeeper itself and its a shame he will return back to England and not stay in the A.

He may have grown during the season but he still wasn't good enough. If he had a random name, no one would rate his season at Torino.

Officially left Torino. His character won over Torino fans, his performances didn't. Both parties should benefit from parting.

There are a lot of great goal keepers in Italy that are better than Hart. Some are playing in Serie B. Alex Meret of SPAL for example.

Not so much on GL but general opinion of Hart for years was he was a top 3 Keeper for ages, glad that's been debunked for all but the most delusional of City/England fans.

Not a top 3 keeper probably, but he was a solid GK in his prime, definitely top 5-10. In fact, Buffon was the one who called him a top 3 keeper IIRC. Also, you don't get called a 'phenomenon' by Messi if you are not good enough. He had to consistently deal with and carry the garbage City defense comprising of players like Clichy, Demichelis, Lescott, Savic, etc.

Definitely one of the most underrated players out there. Maybe if he was João Hartinho, he'd get more praise.

Bullshit. Hart gets plenty of hype just because he was England's GK, its certainly not about the name. If he performed well then he would have got tons of praise as everyone wanted his move to Torino to be a success.

He is 30 years old, he is supposed to be in his prime. He wasn't even top 10 GK in Serie A.

He hasn't been hyped for years lol, there's a stereotype that goes around that we hype our players more than most but it's not really true tbh.

If anything we are more critical about our players than people of other nations are. Laughing

He was hyped for a while, its just that he didn't really live up to it. Its not like he has been hard done because his name isn't João Hartinho. He just didn't become as good as the hype was.
