Which two teams will go through ?
Re: Champions League 2016-17 | Group F
dortmund really tired and madrid just the better team. starting to win the 50/50 battles and having more posession. dortmund really could win the EL but have no place in the CL

cant believe it. that should have been a penalty. the ref knows it, he talks to them but its too late. the counter comes and the professional foul has to be made. yellow. this game sometimes

Another game we should have won. Zidanes inexperience showing but atleast he is working on something everytime. Really unfortunate BBC was not in form cuz they were the weak link today

Varane is a GOAT talent.
Modric, what can you say about that guy? Absolutely fantastic.
Regarding the game, feel sorry for BVB, they deserved 3 points imo. Such a beautiful team, played at a completely different pace to us.

2-2 was fair.
Thought Danilo was good at LB but Carvajal was poor at RB

Navas and Carvajal were uncharacteristically poor tonight. ZZ must have little faith in Kiko Casilla, since he opted to use Navas in his current state, ahead of him. I definitely thought that RM would get steamrolled by Dortmund, but the game played out far more evenly than I predicted it would. I wonder when BBC will be back to full fitness.

Bale and Varane were great; Ramos cross for Ronaldo (the one CR7 didn't connect with) was brilliant.
Still amazed at what Ramos can get away with in the average game without getting a red card. Ribéry level magic.

Dortmund are probably happy Ramos didn't get sent off. Guy is awful.

Dortmund should have had at least 2 penalties. Clattenburg is a terrible referee. He makes a huge show of being tough but straight in small decisions, and almost always gets a couple of huge calls wrong.
That handball was so blatant.
That said, Dortmung were far too attacking, and Zidane continues to have that one quality which trumps any other quality.

That wasn't the problem for me. They didn't attack properly. They couldn't bring the baqll out from the back because Weigl was the inly otion and Castro and Gotze especially joined the forward line so they had no positional superiroity. At one point Rafa, Castro, Auba, Gotze and Dembele were almost in the same horizontal line whilst Weigl was alone with 2 full backs. When Madrid won 2nd balls they were able to counter very quickly and get into one vs one duels.
Gotze was horrendous, Dembele made awful decisions, the positioning of the MF meant that the counter press of Bvb was pretty terrible and Madrid were breaking at will. This stopped once Gotze left and rafa went into MF. He was okay as the LW but he was too isolated and Schmelzer had to basically cut inside as a mf because of the lack of mf connection. Gotze really looks like he can only play in teams with fast transitions. He's having the same problem he had a Bayern.
BVB were lucky to get the win. Madrid had so many breaks to make the scoreline embarrassing.

Finding it very hard not to hype Pulisic to the heavens. Great assist today.
This kid is doing things no other American player has done as far as I can remember.

I think draw was a fair result.
And so proud that Klopp tried to get Pulisic last summer. The Kid was just brilliant yesterday. He needs guidance under a proper coach and he will flourish. Tuchel is good for him for now.
Even if we are able to sign him in January, I hope he stays at Dortmund.

Very attacking line up.
Asensio staring. Hope doesn't disappoint.
I'm realizing his work rate/tracking back is almost non existent sometimes.

That mid seems a little off...., but enough discipline and proper positioning from asensio and James can make it work against this level of opponents hopefully.
