Apparently we have bid for Romagnoli, I'm sure we'll try give you Cuardardo as a sweetener too.

Oh and we're apparently shipping around Paletta if I read correctly. I think a few lower level Serie A teams are interested.

I dont like that though, he could be a useful veteran and played amicably yesterday.

Oi you POS's, why do you accept bids from everyone but not from us?

We gave you Torres and Essien, be greatful and return the favour!

We've used up both of our non-EU slots so we couldn't accept Cuadrado even if we wanted to now.

Can't wait to sign Lasagna after all at the last minute when we realise we have no wingers.

Bacca + Romagnoli for Cuadrado swap?

Very Happy

As far as I'm aware, we can't create a new non-EU slot by selling someone, I think it's a limit per window we can sign.

Someone may be able to contradict me however.

As for the offer, try Fabregas for Zapata.

We're expecting another official offer from Chelsea for Romagnoli, having rejected their initial bid of 35 million euros.

Just hypothetically, for what figure would people begin to consider selling Romagnoli? I'm against it because even if we got 100 million euros we'd waste it. Laughing If Galliani wasn't still in charge of this window though the matter might be different.

At this point, We'll probably keep bidding until we hit 50m Euros, the same as we've done with Koulibaly.

Just for reference.

I also stand by my earlier point of, I hope we don't buy him off you, for Milan's sake.

At 50 million, I imagine we might very well cave. If we could redirect that money towards Rugani and Paredes, I'd accept it, but we'd probably just grab Astori and Bentaleb instead.

From Chelsea's perspective though, I'd prefer to pay 60 or 70 for Koulibaly than 50 for Romagnoli.

Of they do indeed offer 50m, then's he's gone, thats Silva money right there for a 21 year old

I'd look into getting Lucas Hernandez from Atleti and Paredes,

La Repubblica (whom i think are very reliable) just claimed that Chelsea will offer 45m+5m bonuses, if true, then he is as good as gone unfortunately

Among the reasons Milan would rather not sell the player is a clause in the original deal with Roma, which means 30 per cent of any of the profit above the original €25m spent for the player's acquisition would have to be turned over to the club from the capital.

How do you agree to something as stupid as this Galliani rofl rofl

The tragic thing is even if we reject their bid, we'll probably sell him for less 12 months down the track.

You guys should buy Stanciu from Steaua.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=znOZwjI3Y6g

Scored some amazing goals in UCL a few weeks ago against Sparta Prague.

Steaua's boss established his price at 11.5m euros.

I don't know a lot about either player, but Koulibaly is that much better than Roma?

Koulibaly is the finished article. Romagnoli is potential. While Romagnoli is already really good, today Koulibaly is better. The thing is that they are very different CBs. Going for one or the other would depend on what you need most. Koulibaly is very similar to Chiellini, Romagnoli is Barzagli. They'd make a good team.

Koulibaly still has the odd mistake in him but his growth in the past year under Sarri has been incredible. He always had the physical gifts to be a great central defender but he's now combined his strength and pace with a superb reading of the game. Additionally, he's probably the best ball playing central defender in Italy outside Bonucci.

Romagnoli meanwhile is still very much a young talent with the potential to grow. I've no doubt Conte would mould him into a good player but Koulibaly is ready to step in and lead a defence right now. Given Kompany's injury troubles, he'd probably be the best CB in England if he arrived.

Not even the best CB at United anymore :coffee:

Also I can imagine Galliani pocketing the 50 million from Chelsea then signing Caceres for free. Laughing
