Personally i don't give a single fk how much he will cost for being 31 years old and having 1 year left on his contract , 13-15m + bonuses , 18m + bonuses , 20m + bonuses ... whatever. We're signing for a very capable and experienced player , Argentina NT and Lazio's captain , if that means paying somewhat over the odds , well so be it. Krychowiak isn't that kind of player , or seasoned in Serie A , doesn't come off a good season like Biglia .

If we can get him for a more appropriate price then even better , elsewise priorities are priorities , Biglia is the right profile for us and 5-6-7m difference in fee won't make this one less of a good transfer . Don't think we could do better than him from Serie A and a tier above Biglia is simply out of our reach at this point in time .

I mean , what's the alternatives , Badelj and Paredes? Wrecked Montolivo? Krycho = 15x times De Jong? They can all fk right off , good players but not to lose Biglia for any of that. We gonna miss out on our n1 target in Biglia for what 5-6-7m ? Looks hefty but 20m seems ok to me. Actual price 15m imo , i'd allow myself to overpay up to 5m more . Lotito needs the money to make transfers as it seems , so he's going to sell around that mark whether he likes it or not , time isn't on his side and the player wants Milan .

Hope for the best outcome in negotiations , but what really matters to me is that they are succesfull and the player joins . Better to overpay a bit and be satisfied next season than save 5-6-7m and have Badelj dissapearing in half of our games , or Paredes contesting Locatelli on who's not more ready to start games. Nothing is more important than doing our very best to prepare our CL return , certainly not risking our priorities for 5-6m , we simply cannot afford that kind of shit any longer , pay what they must pay and move on .

ES wrote:Why are we signing Kalinic?

If this were under 4-3-1-2 it would make sense

But splashing on 2 strikers is rather dumb at the moment, when we have more pressing needs

Unless we are getting Hames and going diamond? But like Dante says, what then with Suso? Sold off?

Hmm , not sold on Kalinic , but i am not against signing him. I think i can say something about the 'why' , though .

Bacca will be sold and every 2nd or 3rd rumour we read about Milan has 'Lapadula could be included in the deal' , or 'X team is interested in Lapadula' . Quite obvious Milan has put him on the market , he's not part of our plans. So that leaves us with just Andre Silva .

IMO , the plan is , Andre Silva plays no matter what formation . Kalinic rotation no matter what , and Belotti IF we can get him for a somewhat reasonable price , certainly not anything close to 100m . If we can't get Belotti , Andre Silva main man it is , so he will need backup anyway . Niang is gone already , and Bacca and Lapadula are as good as gone too , it's obvious they've been told they are on the market.

I can see why Kalinic , honestly . With all that happened recently , it's easy to forget about it , but practically our CF line consists of only Andre Silva and Cutrone(lol) . Just Andre Silva really , who's not going to be back and ready for our Europa League qualifiers. I mean , even if we get Belotti ... Bacca and Lapadula are probably still leaving , Bacca 100% in any case. And Lapadula , while i really like the guy , he's not Milan material . So , there's one of two things that are happening right now and depending on how the market goes , we'll see one of the two becoming reality.

A) 100% revamp of the attack , Andre Silva-Belotti-Kalinic-(Cutrone) , all the rest sold , we are going 2 CFs way

B) Andre Silva-Kalinic-Lapadula , instead of Belotti we save money for other targets elsewhere, get 2 players in Andre Silva and Kalinic for more or less Belotti's money just to be as safe as possible , keep going 4-3-3 and try for Belotti next summer.

That's what i think atm. For better or for worse , Kalinic does make sense and tbh , i kinda liked him whenever i watched him this season for Fiorentina . Having said all that , personally speaking , if they miss out on Belotti , i am going to smash things imo

definitely gonna lose my shit about it , no chill

http://www.football-italia.net/104483/miha-id-sign-balotelli-belotti

Belotti? I’m hoping that he makes a decision as soon as possible, but things should become clearer over preseason

What? Make what decision exactly , about what?? SINISTEROVIC SPEAK , to decide on what !? Cairo has made sure to remind us every time about dat 100m for foreign clubs , so there's nothing to decide on that front ? If a foreign club had met his release clause , it would have been all over the place by now.. SO what is there he must decide?? Could it be our reported offer loan 20m with obligation to buy him next summer for 60??? Either that , or simply if he wants to go to Milan given our concrete interest , so maybe if they get the 'yes' from Belotti , they can open negotiations with Milan and then move on the market with fresh funds and with added time in front of them..

Whatever Sinisterovic means there, it's so obvious they can't wait to sell him and splash that cash all over the place.

FFFFSSSS bring him home already , i am SO FKN READY FOR IL GALLO  Proud  Proud

http://www.football-italia.net/104468/torino-fight-fiorentina-simeone

“We certainly need to sign one other striker, if not two, depending on what happens with Belotti.”

Sinisterovic needs to cut the BS and speak even more clearly , is there something on the table for Belotti ?? What's to decide , and what's to happen , and "as soon as possible"? What happened to the 'he has a contract till the sun fades' line of talk and only 100m will change that?

How's that shit not news all over the place by now? His coach practically confirming they have something important on their hands and Belotti must decide if he wants to stay or go , so they can move on the market sooner than later.. What else can it possibly be?!

and then there's this :

http://www.toro.it/calciomercato/calciomercato-torino-incertezza-belotti-psg-milan-non-mollano/214007/

although i could only google translate that , you will excuse me , i don't know Italian (still to learn.. sigh)

And the words issued by the center-forward to the weekly "Chi" , at the recent wedding, can hardly reassuring. A long love letter to Georgia, with a particular concluding sentence, linked precisely to the numerous rumors: "Georgia has already followed me in the past when overnight fell asleep and wake up in Palermo in Turin. And if this summer should still happen, it will do it again "

Let's hope she wakes up in Milan next time they move , preferably this month

Molenation ONLY BELOTTI Molenation

http://www.football-italia.net/104555/bacca-%E2%80%98staying-milan%E2%80%99

Bacca saw what happened with Donnarumma

"nah i am chill bruh , love it here , staying put"

I always had his back even when he sucked , but chances are high he's leaving . Only possible role left for Bacca now is that of a supersub . If he's willing , i will gladly have him .

Andre Silva-Belotti-Bacca , not bad , not bad .

That said ... it's very easy to see why he sings that song. Things may go south , you never know what will happen tomorrow , has his back covered like this. I approve. But imho he's 99% gone , unless he doesn't care that much about starting games in the world cup . Who's gonna bench him lol , Hackson Martinez ? lol

Damn if we could get James , i am all in for Bacca staying as a sub , no need to spend on Kalinic then. Extra yuan for Belotti , i am all for it

Andre Silva-Belotti with Bacca as the supersub , James #10 behind them , not bad not bad

http://www.football-italia.net/104582/spurs-consider-suso-bid

Tottenham Hotspur are interested in taking Spanish winger Suso from Milan this summer, claims Marca.

The 23-year-old has history in the Premier League with Liverpool, but struggled for playing time in the senior squad and was sold to Milan for €1.3m in January 2015.

According to Spanish paper Marca, Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino has set his sights on Suso for next season.

They aren’t the only contenders, as Napoli have also been linked with an offer for the Spain international.

His contract is due to expire in June 2019 and so far there has been no sign of an extension.

This term Suso contributed seven goals and 11 assists in 37 competitive games for Milan.

If Salah is worth 45m , so is Suso . 40m plus 5m in bonuses is done dealio imo

come on Tottenham , put all that PL money to good use

come , fund Belotti-James for us

So looks like Chalhanoglu to Milan is almost a done deal now. So I think thid effectively rules out James. And its not a bad alternative either. 2 deadball specialists in our midst along side already established takers like Bona and Suso we should become the deadball specialists of Serie A.

considering Canahoglou plays the trequartista role, how does he fit in our 4-3-3 formation? Aside dead balls, what are his other strengths

It seems like we are going to integrate an AM next season, be it 4-3-1-2 or 4-2-3-1. I havent seem much of the Turkish Honda, but i would personally rather splash 60m on James than split 30/30 between Kalinic and Calhanoglu

With his skillset and passing ability, I can see Montella trying to mould him into a CDM. Otherwise I fail to see how he will be best utilised in our system

what's this shit I hear about Borini? Omg!! How can we sign such a shit player even if it's just for depth. he isn't even good enough for our primavera, why sign him?

I pray he fails his medical somehow or the deals just falls through anyhow. This is 1million wasted in loaning a trash player. I'd hv preferred we used that cash to get a trash can instead

I just read he has 15 goals in the last 5 years. I wonder how these directors and managers access players before signing sometimes. It's obvious he'd bring nothing to the team, so what's the essence of the transfer?

I'm beginning to picture Montella wasting a sub every time we are behind and need a goal in the closing stages of a game. Laughing

I dunno guys, considering Borini works hard, and can play all three positions upfront, has premier league experience, not at all bad for right now.

Juve, on their rise back from 7th place got quagliarella and matri upfront, and they actually panned out a bit. Not saying he will be a Milan player for life but we dont have any sort of depth up front right now. We lost niang and Honda and Delofeu and as it stands we dont necessarily have a player to cover that side during a heavier part of the season with europa and injuries.

He also adds to our italian core and also is a player favoured by Montella. We need more Montella yes men for this squad to develop a winning culture.

Oh and if he doesnt work out we will send him back, for only the cost of his wages that year.

AND...this doesnt rule out Kalinic, Borini will likely replace Lapdula who will be used in other deals. Kalinic and other higher quality forwards we are being linked with will come in once Bacca departs, if he does. Thats why we havnt signed another striker.

whispers have it Calhanoglou is a done dealio and will most likely be featured in the left side of our attacking trident. From what I could gather from some people who have followed the player in his career, he is highly technical and has a good eye for a pass but lacks pace.

Since he seems a bit similar to Suso, what do u guys make of our attack without pace on the wings?

I've watched a fair bit of Calhanoglu over the past few years since I'm a fan of Roger Schmidt's work.

Urban called him a poor man's KDB and I really wouldn't disagree.

He's arguably the best set piece taker in the world, and on the ball he's very direct. When he gets he the ball he automatically looks forward to the goal and tries to make something happen.

I'd say a difference between him and KDB is that Calhanoglu has better control in tight spaces than KDB.

I think he's a good signing, and will do well in Milan.

Calhanoglu and Suso as wings would offer 0 width. I guess you would rely on Conti and Rodriguez but then a DM is needed imo. Can't have Montolivo protecting a defense when the 2 fullback push up so high if the mezzalas are Bonavetura and Kessie. Need a destroyer there.

Biglia and Krichowiak were good ideas.
