Seems like part of the makewieght for Romagnoli.

If we sell him I may cry, he's no doubt been our bright spot since he arrived.

What type of player is this Pasalic guy?
I'd rather have us stick with Locatelli and Mauri instead of these panic buys we are making

I even doubt anyone in Milan has watched this Pasalic guy play. We are probably loaning him because it is the cheap thing to do

He is an elegant midfielder, either plays as a DM or B2B.

1 million euro loan with no option to buy, this is about as low risk as it gets. Even if he does surprise us, we won't benefit in the long term at all from this move but the results of this entire window likely will be wiped out next season when we have new direction and funds, so I have no real complaints.

He's looked promising in both Spain and France, I think he'll certainly be a decent option off the bench, however, I don't think he's a player who will help Milan rise up the table.

Also, he isn't really in with a shot of joining us at the moment so if he plays well he has a great shot at joining you permanently.

Apparently we will actually pay more than 1 million euros to Chelsea for the loan of Pasalic but the more he plays, the less we'll pay. We will also enjoy first right of refusal on Pasalic if they do sell him after his loan spell with us.

This is all dependent however on Pasalic passing his medical as we're concerned about a back injury he's had for some time now.

We're apparently sending Mauri to Empoli on a loan deal with an option to buy. I would prefer it if we held the option to retain him or to buy him back in the future but otherwise I think it's a good move. He's young and dynamic but otherwise limited and playing for a side like Empoli who like to dominate the ball will be a good education for him.
