So... talks ongoing for a winter break in the PL
could very well be finalised soon. From 17/18 season.
Personally I love the christmas fixtures so I hope the break is in Jan for like a week or two at best.

Even if they do winter break, no way they will remove the Boxing Day matchday or the New Year Day matchday. The matchday attendance and TV viewership is at its peak during those holiday times. If they do it, it will definitely be after Jan 1st fixtures.

PL schedule is pretty crazy, don't see a problem with a winter break as long as it's not ridiculous like those lazy Bundesliga clubs smh

Knowing the PL, the players won't get a break anyway as the clubs will likely make some lucrative merchandise trips to Asia or the USA...

It sucks for us fans, but a winter break is absolutely needed.
Could be beneficiary for Arsenal as we always miss half of our squad during the time

Also I am not sure whether Dembele missing is a good thing for us or a bad he always plays good against us. But with wanayama, their midfield looks physically strong and can keep our attack at bay!
