Marchisio is a world class player and he will be a starter no matter what. This leaves only one spot that "new CM"-Khedira-Lemina will challenge for.

The Witsel deal is pretty much sealed anyway. Zenith just need to find someone to replace him, and then he will join Juve. Looking at the odds i'd say he will be here this winter. Hernanes or Asamoah (but most likely Hernanes due to his salary) will then be sold so we won't have an extra man in the squad.

With arrival of pjanic ( playmaker ) it was kinda predicted that Hernanes will leave however, we had injury problem of Marchisio and because of that it was necessary to keep him,

With Marchisio comming back from injury Hernanes needs to go,

Matuidi transfer woould be really good one as he adds lots of physical presence, he can add lots of energy and he can also go for the headers, so you kinda can play three of pjanic, marchiwio, witsel in the midle

But witsel is a guy for the headers,you dont expect him to make gattusso like runs, chasing the ball around , that suits better to matuidi

On capelo days, we had Nedved who could make runs around I the center, the problem is marchisio and pjanic dont really do those kinds of runs,

A center midfield of; pjanic, witsel, matuidi would conpensate for all the needs

We have good players like lemina, sturaro but I dont see them aggressive enough, to do the role, they are good subs but no starting xi

Marchisio coming off from an injury is 100x better than Hernanes on top form! :p

I did not come with the ideas of bringing witsel and matuidi, its juventus themselves

Marchisio and Khedira are both really good players I hope to see them in top performances,
But with injury problems, as I said in the summer its center midfield something to be concerned about, and juventus is doing just that,

I think khedira is much more talented than witsel or any other big man , khedira smells the goal, he has a really good touch, is a player you wish to have but, all these attempt of juventus to bring matuidi and witsel I dont think has anything to do with buffon, it more sounds like has to do with khedira and marchisio in the center

He still only made 25 appearances last season though, and we played more than 45 matches
The two seasons before that for Real, he did not make it to 20 appearances.

I love Khedira, and I agree, there is no need to discuss possible injuries as any player, at any time, could possibly be injured.

I dont care about him RM time tbh, for 'he is injured all the time' he did great last season, and this season so far when you take the training camp into consideration he did great. I hope he continues to stay healthy.

That's a lot, to be honest.

Witsel is actually decent, technically speaking. Saw him more than a dozen times in CL + some Zenit vs CSKA faceoffs. Better dribbling and passing than Khedira that's for sure. The German has better awareness and positionnal intelligence. Both are not heavy tacklers, but with the BBC this has never been an issue i believe.

I'd see Witsel as the man who stays behind in the 3-5-2.
MARCHISIO-WITSEL-PJANIC seems very fair to me. Marchisio doing great all around, Pjanic creating chances for the strikers and unlocking high pressure midfield, Witsel the physical presence who wins headers and distributes the ball to the two others.

However Khedira is a flawless professionnal: humble, resilient and a posititve leader. PJANIC-MARCHISIO-KHEDIRA is perfectly fine as it is.

About Matuidi, if he comes then i'm glad, if he doesn't then i don't give a damn. I never rate him that much but he would bring us some pace in the midfield, which is non-negligible. Witsel's ball control is better than Matuidi's, who looks like he has poo-poo marinating in the bottom of his shorts when he's running with the ball.

I would rather see:

Pjanic-Marchisio-Khedira

With Marchisio returning to his role from last season, Khedira being the beast that he is and Pjanic with a bit more offensive freedom in the 'Pogba' role

if pjaca happens to be talented i think coach can integrate him on the team,

instead of playing a big man for the headers like Vieira, Khedira, Witsel we can play pjaca in midfield of 442

that would be easy to switch if only pjaca plays good and score goals

instead of playing Barzagli, Dani Alves the best would be to have a more natural rb who can also play cb when necessary, Lichtainer i belive can do that role good but even better a guy who is even more aggressive when defending

if Pjaca idea does not work, there is also Witsel idea, but as the fans love 442 more than 352 i presented this approach which is possible



i believe if Pjaca turns to be super talented Juventus will consider this kind of 442 so both dybala and pjaca can play same time

the idea is that you need a guy who can score goals in midfield who can deal with aggressive defenders and so far we have used players like Vieira, Marchisio, Vidal, Khedira for that kind of purpose

something we discuss with my friends i say there is a difference of wingers we see around

i like wingers who are more versatile who can switch to different positions like cf, am, sb

and that depends if they are good on finishing, leadership, defending

a side striker like pedro would never be my choice

what i expect from pjaca is to be more versatile to go for finishing/headers like cronaldo so we dont depend on khedira to go inside the box

in that case it also allow you to substitute khedira for a guy who adds more energy

Chiellini (just recovered from a small injury) will likely be out for Benatia, Litchsteiner should start on the right, and Mandzukic upfront. Marchisio is available for a call up.
