GB got silver. Australia bronze.
Adam Peaty and James Guy single handedly got GB silver
Kyle Chalmers single handedly got Australia bronze.
Ryan Murphy, Michael Phelps, and Nathan Adrian did all the work for the Americans.

Team GB need to put more investment into our swimmers. Hopefully we will improve our medal count in 4 years.

You're pretty well covered in male swimming.
You've got the most dominant breaststroker in history who's only 21. And now that Phelps is retired the arguably best upcoming butterfly swimmer who is 20.
Maybe both of them could improve in other strokes and do medleys as well.
both will dominate medals in 2020. To do good in relays though you'll need better swimmers in freestyle.
