Rummenigge blasts United
"In the future players will think twice before joining such clubs, who treat them more radically when they want to get rid of a player than a club like Borussia Dortmund or Bayern Munich in the Bundesliga would do.
"It seems like this is the price players have to pay if they join these clubs."

Didn't Bayern just a few weeks ago threaten Götze to leave or he wouldn't be included in the CL squad?

IF those schweini reports were true, then I see nothing wrong with them, he isn't in Mou's plans, there's only so much space in the first team locker-room. If it were a case of us forcing him to only play with our youth team like we did with Valdes I could see him having a case (although that was because Valdes was a POS who refused to regain fitness with the reserves so he got punished)
focus on monopolizing your league by stealing every other teams players and then complain about how clubs operate

Re: Rummenigge blasts United
Its not United, its Mourinho. Just like it was LvG as in the case of VV. The club is only supporting the manager outright in his decisions. Sad its happened of course. Basti is a true gentleman. But then again it has got a lot to do with the fitness level, injury condition and age of the players, both in case of Schweini as well as Valdes. Dont think manager will shut a younger fitter player out like this. Heck even Fellaini is given a chance to prove himself.
So... by this if he means players who are the age of Schweini would refuse to come to united, its fine.
Having said that genuinely hope Sch finds a new suitor asap. FFS Where is Juventus when you need them.

Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho should be sent to jail for "bullying" Bastian Schweinsteiger, says a member of world players' union FifPro.
The midfielder, 32, signed a three-year deal in 2015 and played 31 games last term but has trained alone and with the Under-23s since Mourinho took over.
"It's clear bullying," Slovenia FifPro member Dejan Stefanovic told the BBC.
"In Slovenia, we would have indicted Mourinho and asked for the highest penalty - three years in prison."

Maybe Mourinho can share the same jail cell as Messi and then convince him to go to ManU once he served his sentence...

Re: Rummenigge blasts United
Assuming the reports are true and tweet by his brother is accurate. I hope he holds out, not gonna get anywhere close to what he is getting at Utd.
If my FM knowledge is accurate they will either have to get him to leave or buyout his contact. 2 years left @ £150k a week is £15,600,000. Should pull a Malouda for this level of disrespect.

[took this from another site]
The lack of self awareness from this hypocrite.
"We made everything clear to Mario," he said. "He knows what the club thinks and he knows what the future coach thinks."
Rummenigge indicated that Gotze will see little playing time if he decides to see out his contract.
He said: "Mario has to consider for himself whether he wants to constantly get minutes."
The lack of self awareness from this hypocrite.

Re: Rummenigge blasts United
It may sound stupid, but it ain't.
Schwein is a living Bayern and Germany legend.
He did not leave Bayern like, say, Beckham left ManU. He left with high honors, having won literally everything and just wanted a new challenge.
It would be like, say, Scholes in his last years leaves ManU for Bayern and then let's say Van Gaal () pulls his pants down, shows his Dutch dike and sends him to the reserves because he can't tackle. Then let's say Gary Neville (ex-player) was CEO of the ManU board and who would personally despise being in the same situation, bitches about it to the media. Does it really sound far fetched?
It's frakking Schweinsteiger, Bayern legend and recent World Champion. Are you telling me he's some Balotelli type cancer and does not absolutely and does not add anything to the locker room or to the younger generation? It makes no sence at all. Rummenigge is right, and of course he promotes Bundesliga while he's at it.

Re: Rummenigge blasts United
I have no problem with players seeing our their contracts tbh. It's fair. Club gave it to them.
That reminds me though, the disrespect to Malouda was insane. Different from this because Schweini was signed by the previous coach and had a meh injury hit 1 season with us
Malouda was GOATING for Chelsea and was their best player arguably for a couple years and they completely ostracized the lad smh

Re: Rummenigge blasts United
Guys, is Rummenigge Bayern coach or was he Bayern coach? Goetze was all a Sammer buy. It's no one's fault really that Guardiola just never warmed up to him. Or maybe he's regressed as frack. We'll see in his Dortmund games.
He certainly wouldn't be the first world beater youngster to not make it in a big club.
