Sounds like a great tie with two fun teams. Porto probably favorites but both can win.

Gladbach just played YB in the 'Uhrencup' three weeks ago and they managed a hard fought win on penalties after drawing 3:3 in regular time ^^

Monaco unlucky again. Another tough draw for them. Hope they can make it through.

Villarreal vs Monaco and Porta vs Roma should be two very enticing ties.

Steaua Hopefully, we won't concede more than 3 goals in a game.

That system is stupid. Who would rather watch Hapoel Be'er-Sheva match than a Roma one in the CL.

Wow, one of Roma or Porto won't make it. Meanwhile a bunch of other no name scrub teams will. Ridiculous...

Re: 2016/17 UEFA Champions League Qualification
Time for TGIP to show why he's so loved by Romanisti.
Tough draw, but there was always a huge possibility we'd get a big club since we were unseeded. Not even mad or sad at this point.
A huge opportunity for us to make a statement. Porto are in pre-season just like we are so while their pedigree is certainly higher, I still like our chances if we play like we did the 2nd half of last season.
If we go out well at least we can go full in on the Coppa and league. RIP Winter transfer window though.

So once again people cry because not only clubs from the big competitions are allowed into the CL yet for some reason almost all of them are against having a CL for the top leagues only

Re: 2016/17 UEFA Champions League Qualification
You know that Roma would have been seeded if they hadn't allowed the equalizer against Leverkusen in the CL last season? It's all about the points you collect in the matches you pla ^^flameas wrote:That system is stupid. Who would rather watch Hapoel Be'er-Sheva match than a Roma one in the CL.

We could lend you Pjanic for a couple games if it would help. Always willing to help a fellow Serie A brother...

So, tomorrow winning is out of the question for City, will they draw or lose?

Re: 2016/17 UEFA Champions League Qualification
Roma squad for the Porto game
Goalkeepers
Alisson Becker
Lorenzo Crisanto
Wojciech Szczesny
Defenders
Emerson Palmieri
Federico Fazio
Juan Jesus
Konstantinos Manolas
Riccardo Marchizza
Vasilis Torosidis
Thomas Vermaelen
Midfielders
Daniele De Rossi
Alessandro Florenzi
Gerson
Radja Nainggolan
Leandro Paredes
Federico Ricci
Kevin Strootman
Forwards
Edin Dzeko
Stephan El Shaarawy
Juan Manuel Iturbe
Diego Perotti
Mohamed Salah
Francesco Totti
FFS Roma's only left-back is emerson whoever is in charge of signing these defenders needs to get shot. Its amazing to go into a season with your oldest LB being a 22 year old rookie. Peres needs to come asap as well to have a real RB besides perma-injured Torosidis.
