Cautiously optimistic that the team sponsored by everyone's favourite Vodka mixer will go through.
man city is so confident, apparently the let that Joe hart guy start????
Ajax really chasing it now.

Oh boy..
Doesn't change anything I've said about de Boer but f me - Bosz at this point could well be worse. There are not even any positives I could draw hope from anymore

The greatest Austrian prospect since Alaba ( Lazaro) is knocked out of the game by a foul which will make Roma fans pissed off ( cus he did not get a red card )

Don't see how Bosz can come back from this tbh. He's basically done a few weeks after the season started.

You could tell it was going to happen Salzburg had their chances, but Zagreb scored to make it 1-1 and go to extra time
With all this money from Red Bull, they could buy players like Balotelli ,Hart, Schwienie, the Toure brothers and all those other players who are not wanted and probably even get them for nothing! Then they would not be in this position now. Terrible management! Get the Casino guys in charge again!

As the announcers said last night, fouls like De Rossi's or Palmieri's are only straight reds when an Italian club player is the offender. Just as I suspected, they were right, notwithstanding all the self-righteous crap from the other posters. I watched all the fouls on You Tube now, and the Italian announcers were correct in their assessment.

Ah crap, you could just sense that Salzburg were killed by that late goal in regulation.

That clearly wasn't red OK, the guy was still able to stand up on two feets for 10 mins before being carried on stretcher.

Anyone follow the Russian League? Not that beating Ajax is any great feat, but Rostov has (always) been a struggling team and this result amazes me. How good are they?
