Manchester United 2016/2017 Pre-Season

Valencia!! Has been the best player in these 3 games we have played i think. If he can rectify his attacking game like this with more productivity and assists. Then fair enough. No problem with me to accept him. Always got incredible athleticism. Need to work on defensive positioning. Hope Mou can turn him to be a good full back.

Rashford, Mata, Herrera, Lingard, Bailly, Carrick and Shaw looked great too. Memphis looked neat with some skills.

Looked much better second half from a purely fitness and match sharpness point of view. Hope these guys will continue getting minutes to be ready for the opener. Disappointed Martial got took off at the ht tho.

Herrera didn't really impress me. He was the one who didn't follow Bruma at the 2nd goal we've conceded and that's why he had so much space to enter the box and score. Nobody shined in the first half anyway. It was just Ibra's goal and Valencia's assist.

Yea i watched the highlights now and saw that. Not that great true. But if you take that out he was really good. He was winning balls in the midfield and was starting attacks 2 or 3 times. Did what Jose asked him to do i guess. Much better than last season.

Oh ok. I really love the guy, but for me it wasn't a good performance today. However, like I said, I am not disappointed with him, it's just that I know he can do much much better. Let's agree to disagree!

BTW, very nice activity from us in the last month in the Man United section!

I admit Herrera doesnt deserve to start right now especially if buy pog. But can be a squad player.
I really dont know what has happened to his passing and technical skills that he displayed 2 seasons back. Back then he played a helluva more confidently and freely and even his passes were really good. Now its just high pressing, closing down and winning balls, even in that he isnt convincing enough and doent do his job all the time. All his passes these days are either back or sideways and short. Dont know why he is playing like that even after lvg not being here.

Today as i said he was tackling and set up once or twice us on attacks (which he did in the last 2 games too with reasonable success). And I didnt notice his involvement in their 2nd goal until the highlights in the end. By saying he was good, I meant he was good compared to last season.
But then again, as Vlad said, I also know he can do quite a lot better than what he is showing right now.
