Jeffrey Wright's the name and he's a fantastic actor. Enjoyed him in just about everything he's been in, even as Felix in the Bond films.

Just finished watching this episode and I literally had to step away for a bit and go watch the supermoon to make sure I knew what was real and what wasn't. No joke. Crazy ending

Hopkins getting in that Emmy race Proud

On another note, season 2 is coming in 2018....which shouldn't be a surprise considering the production costs for this show. GOT could literally be done by the time this show's 2nd season hits...sheesh.

That being said the Bernard twist was crazy predictable

Solid episode, felt teased with MIB's origin story, Naeve goes from crazy cynical to naive if they think they won't notice what she's doing to the storylines.

Also great post putting everything we know into chronological order:

Give me some of that Samurai World ASAP!

Hope they deliver on the Roman one as well

Also did I notice a separate logo with V in it? That might be the Roman one, but I haven't seen it elsewhere, so it might just be my imagination.

Nope, I saw a V as well, which of course is the Latin "U". I instantly recognized that as Roman in origin. I highly doubt we'll see much of that world though, if anything at all.

Don't think we'll see much, if any, of those worlds. Might be a possible spin-off if it reaches a higher fanbase and becomes a huge succes.

Upon further thought, the reveal that William = MIB was totally lame. They did not in any way convince me that William's transformation into someone that would repeatedly rape Dolores was plausible. William should've died and Logan should've become the MIB.

Dammit. What an ending to the first season. Last two episode were great even if we already suspected most of the stuff that would happen.

Ford (Hopkins) is the ultimate GOAT. The ultimate storyline.

Just binge watched this. What a *bleep* show. Fantastic stuff.

Anthony Hopkins deserves an Emmy. Can carry an entire episode just by his presence. Unbelievable acting.

I find Dolores annoying. I don't think she is a good actress. Her acting feels really forced at times. Also her face is annoying eventhough she is pretty. Literally looks like she is made of plastic.

Teddy looks like the main character from airplane. Couldn't get that image out of my head.

Maeve's storyline was interesting and the end made sense because she is needed in Westworld rather than being outside. I am glad they told us that she was being controlled in the end because otherwise her entire arc was full of plot holes. I am assuming it was Ford.

I am happy I didn't read any of the theories and went in blind. Thoughts on some of the reveals

-I didn't see Bernard being a host coming at all. But I did see him being Arnold though.
-Saw Dolores being wyatt coming from a mile away but didn't know why she would end up like that. Thought it was Teddy at first for a while.
-Skullface (amazing acting) being Billy wasn't as bad as some of you said imo. Thought it was a nice way to show interchanging timelines. But i can see why it felt cheesy.

Going to miss Hopkins next season Sad No idea how they can replace someone like him. Rest of the characters aren't exactly that interesting. If skullface dies too specially.

I am assuming hosts are all going to start claiming westworld their own now and start kicking out the visitors.

Can't wait for season 2

I've just finished the season after a one day marathon.

Incredibly touching. I saw it like a message from those who made the show for the ones who are watching it. It would be too much to say that I learned new things, but it really made me "wake" something inside me. Everything in the final episode seemed to be addressed to me...

I think the show definitely works better as a binge rather than if you have a week to analyze every small detail to predict the twists.

Well, seeing that he died. I don't think he will be there. No chance of him coming back as a host either considering so many saw him died unlike the Bernard incident.

Usually HBO gets a star for season 1 and then they go off. Like Sean Bean for GoT. It's the only way they can get such high profile guys who wouldnt want to be tied down to 8 seasons of something.

I thought he was building the host version of himself in his secret lab.

Anyway, William was happy in the end because the "Westworld" finally reacted? Right? Smile

Yea I wonder who he was building. Thought it could be Elsie (since no one knows she is dead still). If it is himself then that would be quite a twist.

Yea William was happy because the hosts can finally fight back.
