for some reason i knew ozil would miss that penalty. has he been taking PKs for germany? i mean the guy has issues finishing, i'm sure germany has some better pk candidates than ozil

The obvious question is why the f didn't Müller take it?!

Müller hasn't scored an Euro goal so far, was.. err.. not at his best.. so the penalty would have been a welcomed opportunity for a moment of success for him -besides he's the no 1 taker.

Either way, have to say I'm pretty surprised Müller's performance hasn't been mentioned Laughing

Usually he gets hated on here when being fan *bleep* tastic.

Sunday he gave what surely was one of the most abysmal and ridiculously bad performances in football history, and nothing ? Laughing

Meh, him being shitty didn't hurt anything.

Still not sure why Özil took the penalty though, should've been Müller to bust his knot, or Gomez to get a guaranteed goal.

I should address this considering i'm usually one of those who criticizes him hmm

I don't really hate him, i just feel he gets let off quite easily when he doesn't do anything and gets hyped as *bleep* when he does almost anything.

I have seen many times ( a lot more than someone of his stature would have you believe ) where he doesn't score, touch is bad, passing is wayward and overall just straight up preventing his team from scoring due to bad play of any of the aforemention things.

Which is hardly ever brought up, but as soon as he scores those who won't bring up his bad performances are quick to be loud about said goal.
