Let's not overreact. He's been horrible the entire tournament just as he's been horrible in every big game for every big team in his career. The reason he's at Stoke is because he was rejected by Bayern and even Inter, who are not exactly an elite team right now.

When another team succeeds on all 5 PKs to win, you have to put some of the blame on the keeper... there was one there he definitely should have saved. Xhaka of course with the rest of the blame.

Sommer did a much better job than Fabianski in my opinion, he'll be disappointed with the Milik penalty as he got a good hand on it but not enough

But then, Switzerland had enough goal chances during the playing time, so they should blame themselves for not converting at least one more of them...

How emphatic was Krychowiak's penalty? Absolutely no keeper would've stood a chance. I still think this as a game where Poland allowed Switzerland to get back into the match by sitting deep as early as second half. Spirited performance from the Swiss though but the better team went through imo.

Poland are going to be no walk in the park for either of Croatia/Portugal. Gonna be a tough encounter.

I saw their first game. He was good, far from horrible. And he was very good today.
