You know it's Zelda when you are stuck on puzzles for *bleep* ages.

if I'm stuck on a puzzle for more than 3 minutes it's straight to youtube tbh

which is shameless but my gaming set up is like 3 feet from my PC setup too so it's hard to resist smh

I even got lazy and had to look up some of the insanely easy puzzles in Horizon rofl

Now I did it I'm utterly embarrassed by myself tbh.

It's always the most simple thing every *bleep* time.

was watching some streamer who got the game early do some puzzle in this and he took like 15 minutes on some basic AF geometry based puzzle before having to ask his chat to give him the answer

Was it the wind one because that's the one I got stuck on embarrassingly.

All because I didn't realise you have to make a running jump lmao.

Disgusting.

There were puzzles in God Of War which I was stuck for months. The most infuriating part is once you figure it out it feels like it was so simple.

IDK it was some puzzle where you had to move objects and make a ramp

RG that was the only real puzzle that ruined me in recent memory, had to look that up

the ones in UC4 were fairly easy

It's coming along way faster than I would have thought. (You can load into any save but the physics engine isn't up and running - which renders the game unprogressable)

At this rate I'm reconsidering a switch purchase. Rather run this kind of game at 4k and whatever enhancements come along.

Plus the switch is looking a bit dodgy

Think infamous SS had that DS4 motion sensor thing. Wasn't that bad but not used it since.

Speaking of which, need a new infamous game ffs.

I'm really fighting my feelings with this game atm lol.

While it's a really good game, i'm really not seeing the reason for the onslaught of 10/10s. Not even close to my favourite Zelda right now although it could change.

I want to love it, but it feels like im forcing myself to play it and enjoy it rather than it coming naturally.

For clarification of where i am for ES....

I've seen enough footage to know it's not a 10/10, it looks like a fun game but I wasn't fishing when I said it's not even the best game to release in that week.

People are just wanking it because it adds some new fresh ideas (that plenty of other games do better) to the Zelda formula which was already a critical darling and one of gaming's most beloved series.

story and voice acting is downright mediocre to bad too

solid 8.5/10

I reserve the right to change my mind though, plenty of Zelda games i hated at first but as i progressed i ended up loving.

I'm just not feeling it as this mind blowing experience atm.

Game has about 10 days to convince me otherwise it's onto Mass Effect lol.

Not sure how you can rate it without playing it, copying from other games? Lol Horizon does a masterclass performance of that, i could just point out countless things lol, glorified Ubisof title.

@Mole, idk why you're not liking it, because its not semi linear like older Zelda titles? Its an evolution of the Zelda series, plus there's a lot of hints and nods regarding lore and story if you're a hardcore Zelda fan. I'm sorry to see that you are forcing yourself to play, maybe take a break and come back later if you're in gaming fatigue

It's not that i don't like it ES, it's not that i don't love it tbh.

Story is quite interesting even though i'm very early on, world is very well made. But i really dislike the weapons constantly breaking down and yes i do wish the game gave me more of a sense of direction.

I understand that it isn't for everyone but i like being told where to go and exploring based on that instead of figuring it out myself.

Mainly because when that happens i go somewhere i shouldn't and get killed. Laughing Like i said it's very early on and i might end up liking it more than Wind Waker etc etc but right now i don't.
