Which teams will go through? (Choose 2, please)
Re: EURO 2016 France - Group E
I warned you guys about Zazaaaaaa...he just made a assist today to keep a low profile.
Then he will come out of nowhere as a supah playa who actually exists out op EPL.You know the reactions of EPL "fans" then, it will happen like when they discovered Pirlo and Bonucci lately.

Italy didn't concede 1 shot on goal
2/2 on victories
The 3 goals were scored by Giaccherini, Pelle and Eder, Conte's picks
Conte right now:

I have to say though as die hard fan of Italian football and ardently following the team for nearly past 4 days, I was disappointed at the performance of our team.

Terrible game to watch for neutrals no doubt.
Loving the team though. Conte is doing what he promised. A well-drilled, tactically great, winning team.

First half didn't really have one good attack. Sweden dominated possession but also did not create a single chance.
Second half, Italy woke up a bit. Surprising substitutions from Conte somewhat, but paid off. Eder with a very late goal after Zaza won a good header to free him.
Game plan seemed to be to let Sweden have the ball, hope they over commit and counter hard and fast. Sweden's best chance was an offside chance for Ibra and a really silly penalty call at the end of the game.
Sweden just did nothing to win this game. They did not create anything against this Italian defence. Looks like Italy was content with a draw, never in fear of losing and in the end, won the game with some brilliance from Eder and hard work from Zaza.

Re: EURO 2016 France - Group E
I disagree with that. Ibra could have scored easily on that play... you never play for a draw until you get there in the last 20 mins or so. I just think Italy has very little attacking talent and will always struggle with the ball. They can only be effective on counter attacks.
In this game, both Italy and Sweden set up for the counter attack and it was a horrible game. Nothing from either side... just nothing. Italy scored on a fluke play by Eder that went on a solo run (which would never work against any half decent defense). Had a couple of other chances in the 2nd half... which seemed to look good but that was in comparison to the awful first half.
Just a nothing game. Technically just awful from both teams.

It was a terrible game to watch even for a Sweden or an Italy supporter not just neutrals.
It was like watching Conte's Juventus on a dull day against Sassuolo or Bologna

So in one breath you say that Ibra could have easily scored and Eder would have never scored against a half decent defence.
Your entire analysis rests on what could have happened, ought to have happened or should happen rather than what actually happened.
What actually happened? Ibra nullified and Eder scored a well earned goal.
I'm one fallacy or contradiction away from putting my head through a wall. Mole, quote me. Tom if you're out there, remember me as you remember HERNANES.

Re: EURO 2016 France - Group E
2nd place in Italy's group will likely get Portugal (winner of group E). the winner of group D gets either Croatia or Spain.
Personally, i think finishing 2nd and playing Portugal is the easier route. So Belgium may get a better draw despite losing to Italy.

Yeah finishing 2nd in Italy's group is a blessing in disguise. Because in the Ro16 you face either Croatia or Spain and you get past them and you'll face Germany in the quarters. Belgium would be extremely happy to finish 2nd from here i suppose

The banter is the best part of this forum
I would rather read pages of lighthearted DMzema, Fraudba, HERNANES, GL Tax, B2BLB posts than the knee jerk, fallacious arguments that some put out more frequently.

If I actually valued your opinion more than I do my own piss, i'd take your point in to consideration.

Evidently my opinion isn't the only thing you value less than your own piss ... subtlety , originality , and fresh material seem to get the same treatment .
