Who will go through? (Pick 2)
Re: Copa America 2016 USA - Group A
US-Costa Rica coming up. I have lost all faith on the islanders without Keylor, I think the US should steamroll them.

Moneys to USA with Colombia. Damn these come in difficult times if you're Euro. I remember games being in decent times at Chile, so what gives?

League is designed to be marketed only to the Americas, so most high profile games are scheduled after it's 6pm in the pacific coast of the US for all that mexican/hispanic audience.

What a half
Let's keep this going. Thought the penalty was very generous though. Uruguayan FA is right, it's dangerously prepared for a CONCACAF team

Didn't see the beginning
I quite enjoy Oh Canada as an anthem though. My dad wrote to the Canadian government when he was young asking something about the anthem, and they sent him back a letter with the lyrics and a vinyl of the anthem. It's been in my blood ever since.

Would you have expected them not to? When you only have 3 games, you can't afford to play with fire and hope you go through on the last game.

Why 'islanders' though? It's not Puerto Rico is it?

Textbook USA performance. When up against it and facing a weaker opponent, batter them.
Watch us bottle it against Paraguay now

I think this game just proved how important Navas is to the Costa Rica team. He gives them that extra quarter in the Game Over screen.
Still, Good performance from the backline. Brooks and Cameron are very solid defenders. Maybe Gonzalez won't be missed so much.
Here's hoping.
Klinsmann's job at stake in the next match.

US is terrible at football etc etc
Consistently gets out of the groups in WC, just got through a group with fairly recent CA runners up, CRC (WC quarterfinalist 2014) and Colombia (WC quarterfinalist 2014). Depending on the result later tonight, the US could top the group.
Myth needs to die. US aren't amazing, but we're no longer bad at football and haven't been for a while now.
Amazing result, heart and soul in that game, incredible crowd. Can't wait for our next game

We are 10-15 years away from winning a world cup.
There is too much interest, and we have too many people, for that not to be the case with out culture.

Colombia going with almost all our bench for starters today all we need is a draw to top the table.

Re: Copa America 2016 USA - Group A
Even though it's our bench the players are fully capable of grinding out the win especially considering who we have on the bench now.
I have to take a look but apparently if we lost we would avoid Brazil ( i think)
