Griezmann for Ballon d'Or ?

Griesman may be the worst player I’ve ever seen. Shame he didn’t go to Barca

Nah he is a great all-round player, just way below the level he thinks he is at. But he's still a top 14 player at least.

griezmann is intelligent. first of all, i like his football and he developed his game, he's a prime example of someone being able to adapt, he had a different style at sociedad. but here's why he is intelligent- you do not 'win' this award, i hate when people say such and such 'won' it. its not like you play for it, so at this time of the year, people start their same ol drawn out campaigns for their friends, teammates and themselves

he doesn't play for madrid nor barcelona nor any super heavyweight european team, his teammates aren't getting asked everyday about ballon d'or and if they are considering its atleti, its under the radar. and cerezo doesn't get interviews everyday from big media conglomerates like say a florentino perez, so griezmann is doing the leg work himself

and in a year when cristiano and messi flattered to decieve in yet another world cup, griezmann might as well go for it. he's shown he is comfortable for club and country, he was top scorer in the last euro, so why not? campaign away

this is one of the reasons i hate these awards but we go through this at this time every year. its just business as usual, if they're tired of these then scrap the awards all together, but stories sell magazines and generate hits so i guess that's out of the question

btw if griezmann compared himself to cr and messi, i don't see much wrong in that. yes we know the truth, but a player has to have some boldness or self confidence, i mean we can't expect every footballer to belittle themselves for the sake of being viewed as humble to the public....if he talks the talk then lets see if he can walk the walk......and if he can't, that's on him
