It's this sheer unpredictability that makes him so good to watch, for me, though.
His game is creative chaos (which is by the way also why he funtioned so well for Tuchel, who likes his teams to engender some creative chaos in the attacking phase to overcome tight defenses)

He's looked brighter in recent games, but I'd be surprised if Valverde had completely taken a U-turn regarding him, based on a single moment of individual brilliance.

Yeah making excuses for oversleeping would be fucking absurd. I often get like 4 hrs sleep but I get up because I have to.

how can he even compare dembele to drenthe. drenthe was one of the worst footballers i've ever seen. completely one footed with below average skill and iq

He had speed and a super high work rate. You can get pretty far with those qualities, these days Razz

Don't think I've ever heard of a more socially anxious footballer than him, though.
