What a collapse by this team. I never knew that a fifa virus could be so destructive.

It's so stupid though. We had so many chances today and we just bottled it. It's infuriating. When we played atletico, we lost deservedly and I just felt sad but still accepted it.

Today I'm just angry because apparently our forwards don't know how to shoot the ball on target.

Neymar attempts silly things thinking that he is the same Neymar when in form. loses all of them. Suarez didnt have a bad game because he basically didnt have any game. Where he was. is his role only pressing? and waiting for tapins

best Barca player was Mascerano by far. defended alone,it was impossible to get past him

Overall Valencia was lucky not to concede 5 goals. but anyways its getting more interesting from now on. team should accept the flopping and get the confidence

Suarez, this has summed up this whole season without the heavy supply of goals, Neymar and messi go off form and stop supplying assists and suddenly, the goals dry up (has scored in 2 of 11 games now) and as for Neymar, I have no other adjectives to qualify him, such a useless person and a player who lacks ambition.. He would go into oblivon in no time with his rubbish mentality..
What a douch bag. Can't believe I've been supporting a player with such terrible attitude. Should be benched the next game by mathieu for all I care.

All the blame on Neymar. Watch their second goal again. The problem couldnt be anymore obvious.
I dont know why Barca fans bury their heads in the sand when it comes to one player. But they will blame the moon causing the high and low tides before they actually identify the real problem.

Neymar needs to go. Seriously. In 3 seasons he's only shown about 3 months of great form but a whole lot of questionable attitude problems (partying in the middle of the season, snapchatting in the middle of the night before a game, blackmailing the club with offers from PSG, asking to play 2 tournaments with Brazil in the summer etc.). € 190M is way too good to ignore for the next Robinho.

He is a good player but apart from his 3 months of great form where he played for a new contract he is not a major step up from someone like Reus and Reus doesn't have all the baggage that Neymarketing brings. Would be the most logical decision in the history of the club to cash in for € 190M and then get Reus + Pogba for it. Even better, negotiate € 150M + Marquinhos with PSG and THEN buy Pogba + Reus on top of it. Get rid of Alba in the process and replace him with anyone, add some more depth and we're good to go again with a rejuvenated squad.

Not that Bartomeu would have the balls and logic to do it. Guy still hasn't negotiated a sponsorship deal for next season. Can't find a sponsor for FC Barcelona. rofl free_cat's countrymen electing this guy. rofl

Honestly I'd consider selling Neymar for a behemoth transfer offer from PSG (and only PSG as I don't think it would ever come back to haunt us since they suck and would probably never sell him) which would help us fix our many holes in the squad; but our dumbass club would replace him with Gameiro and Nolito and bring back Song to play CB lmao

What makes you think Neymar and the people managing his brand will want to stay at Barca once Messi and Suarez decline, the golden generation comes to an end and Barca drops down a level or two (inevitable, we won't be at the top forever)? For me he doesn't look like the type of character who will lead Barca in possibly not so great times like Rivaldo or Ronaldinho did.

Would also be funny if Madrid end up not winning anything and we end up with a cup double after all the shit they been talking the last few weeks.

So let's just wait and see how things play out

When Messi got injured earlier in the season, it was Neymar who stepped his game up 2 fold and kept us up. At the moment, everyone is in a bad spell, not just Neymar. I do believe if Messi were not in the picture that Neymar would be a great player to build around. And when our golden generation ends we will still have great players here and be contenders

I understand everyone is in a odd mood due to our slump but starting discussions about selling a player thats 23 and just finished 3rd in the Ballon D'Or makes no sense (the only person to blame for not figuring how get the team going again is Lucho)

As long he leaves it all out on the pitch, dont care what he does off of it.You want to talk about the real virus in the team.
How about holding the club to ransom to get a contract he doesnt deserve? How about almost getting Enrique fired? How about playing poorly and being a liability to the team for 4 of the last 5 seasons?
The problem is that Barca fans tend to bury their heads in the sand when it comes to Messi. Just because he doesnt party and is seen as a family man, everything is ignored. When the reality is that he is like Ronnie in his last couple of seasons.
Statpads against scrubs but goes hiding when the going gets tough and is garbage against defensive teams. Cant do jack and counts on Neymar and Suarez to bail him out.

Has Neymar been poor lately? Yes, he has been. But unlike Messi, he is not a liability and doesnt compromise the team's tactical structure. He lives the good life but as long as he gives his all on the pitch, plays defense and doesnt compromise the tactical structure of the team, he can play for us.

no logic between this quote and "messi did nothing in last 4-5 seasons and was problem for the team". I can say that your comments depends on your mood. when you are mad nothing can stop you from bashing anyone

What part of 4 of the last 5 seasons dont you understand?
The one of the 5 being last season when he admittedly played great and wasnt a liability.
Address the specific points instead of burying your head in the sand and randomly criticize players. Who was at fault for the second goal?
donuts-Never expect a coherent argument from you. Let me know when the one dimensional hack actually shows up in a big game against a good defensive team. Word of advice. Dont hold your breath on that one cause it wont happen. It will once again fall to the real players in the team to bail us out. Like Iniesta has been doing all these years. Likes of Alves, Suarez, Neymar, Pique etc.

Lol the guy who made the record of scoring on 18 league games in a row (the whole la liga) hasn't shown up against a big team?

your funny alex truly, your love on hating messi makes me giggle a lot.
kinda like an anti harmonica but still hold the bias and obsession all the while sounding incredibly ridiculous.

all of barca (teammates etc)  keeps saying how important messi is, all  past coaches, managers, etc etc put messi in a high position in regard of importance

but somewhere some kid named alex thinks he's above them saying messi is the problem Laughing
i can understand being disappointed with messi he didn't carry us in some games but that's the sort of pressure a player like messi has, having to show up EVERY game.. suarez and neymar are doing a ghost job when messi is out of form but somehow only messi plays bad in your eyes Laughing he is the only problem we have for not showing up every game..

Get your head out of the sand kid.
I dont care about scoring. Remind me of the time he last showed up in a Clasico? Remind me of when he has shown up against a good defensive team.
More than that, I would like you to argue the specific points I raised.
1) Do you agree or disagree that he is a defensive liability? That him not defending his flank leaves the right flank exposed like it was in the second goal yesterday? If Rakitic goes wide, do you agree or disagree that it then leaves our center exposed? If you disagree, I would like to see an actual argument why instead of a stupid one liner.

2) Do you agree or disagree that pressing is an important and crucial tactic in the modern game? If you agree, do you agree or disagree that we are not even a top 30 pressing team on the planet? If you agree, do you agree or disagree that Messi is the main reason why we are a poor pressing team? If you disagree, again a coherent argument would be appreciated.

3) Do you agree or disagree that Messi has proven largely a flop and a liability against good defensive teams? Do you agree or disagree that unpredictability and movement is required against good defensive teams and that the reason Messi struggles against such teams is because he lacks in both areas. Do you agree or disagree that his one trick pony play has proven useless against PTB teams and has actually impeded our play? If you disagree, please provide an argument why not?

If you cant, then please dont waste my time.

Against park the bus 1 player cant do anything even if its Maradona or Pele. Its a team game and old Barcelona style was slow build up, Xavi in midfield who always passed the ball back, no counter attacks. This team is different. And what iniesta, alves, pique did against them anyways? when they stopped messi team always lost, nobody could make a difference. suarez neymar didnt face such team (mourinho's chelsea, mourinho's inter) yet, and even if they face now its 3 players in MSN . together they would be too much for them. You dont take one player and compare him to 3 players.

After them biggest PTB was Atletico M. and messi has the most goals and assists against them. this season alone in first league game he came from bench and saved the day against them. So in short it was Mourinho's teams that stopped Barca

1) Yeah, Messi has become a defensive liability. Whether it be by design or on his own accord, he rarely tracks back to at least give the defensive make up strength in numbers. The reasons has been beaten to death and vary depending on who you ask but that fact still remains.

2) No idea if I would agree or disagree because I simply don't know what is the measurement used for pressing. Even you would agree that running around chasing balls and shadows =/= pressing. And to blame 1 guy as to why you're not pressing properly is actually unfair.

3) Totally not a Madrid fan's place to answer.

Wtf am I reading again, ppl saying sell this player sell that player who is useless who is crap etc....we do not need this... lol

Team isnt performing good enough, but its not inidividuals fault, when its the whole team overall something else is at work... i think we didnt play that bad to deserve to lose. Valencia definitetly were abit lucky, but our defending at counters again were not good enough.

We just need to keep sticking it, and results will turn good. Nothing major in terms of fixes can be done until the summer so all the team can do now is do their best and if they do i think we should be able to win the next games.

no he wants a player in messi level with pressing and running. still doesnt understand that a player in messi level will not press. As a second fiddle neymar presses but give him the throne he will stop running in a few months. every big player has been there and done it. maximum in 2 years all of them stopped running. messi is the one who lasted 8 years, thanks to his family guy attitude. He thinks Neymar and Suarez will press and run forever in next 5-6 years and selling messi is the solution. in reality its opposite as selling him will destroy the team
