Jornada 33 : Barcelona v Valencia : Sunday April 17

So here it is, losing 3 of our last 4 matches, it's now or never to show why we are champions or continue towards an abyss of failure of epic proportions.

Valencia are hot off a win against Sevilla, and with Pako Ayestarán actually knowing how to manage a team unlike the reject Utd pundit and with the Madrid clubs hot on our ass, this match has now become our most important one of the season. We either turn it around or risk making winning a major trophy very difficult. On the bright side, this is likely our last tough match of the season in La Liga, so even if we stumble we can still potentially hold on top the top spot.

I can see us drawing/losing and still winning the league, but regardless this is a must win. Simply because, though I could see us still winning the league--a loss here and an even bigger plunge into this slump means we could potentially become low on morale (if we aren't already) and mess up one of the following games. Stumbling here gives us a much higher chance of stumbling in the coming weeks, and that's why it's so critical.

Win here, and I think we go on to win the league.

It won't be easy and Valencia can always make it tough, but let's hope we put together a performance like we did against them earlier in the season. I'm nervous already.

What an absolute joke.Defending with 7 once more.
Neymar following in Messi's footsteps. It should never be about individuals. Defense is a team game.
You need 8 to defend against good teams. Else you are going to see comical defending like we just saw.
And please lets call a spade a spade for once and not excuse forwards who dont defend.

They have the ball on our left wing. Neymar doesnt help. Iniesta is forced wide. Busquets and Rakitic get pulled wide too. They switch the play to our right. Our midfielders cant shift across in time. Messi is nowhere in sight to help. Valencia player in acres of space and time to pick out an easy pass.
Tiredness I guess. Defense and midfield's fault I guess.

It's so stupid though. We had so many chances today and we just bottled it. It's infuriating. When we played atletico, we lost deservedly and I just felt sad but still accepted it.
