Incredible film. Great premises. Was my first noir film afaik and I really loved it. It was a mixture of genres and not just sci-fi. I saw the twist coming but was still shocked as I imagined it a bit different to what it really was. CGI and affects were a bit outdated as it was like 18 years ago but it doesn't put you off.

Kiether Sutherland was interesting in it lol.

Jennifer Connelly. Lord.... The Movie House - Part 7 - Page 23 Mo7zYc9 Why none of you say anything about her before ffs

Not in his league? None of us have even seen King yet and you still say that? Looking at the poster Kong isn't even that much smaller. He's maybe the half size.

Kong will win imo.

Triangle (2009)

There are mind bending films and films with great twists and then there is Triangle. I am not sure why this film is so underrated? Maybe because it was low budget or something. Liked this a lot more than Looper for example but it probably won't even be mentioned in the same breath.

I won't say a single word regarding the film since it will be a spoiler. Really liked it.

But seriously if you have an hour and a half free and like mind bending films then give this a watch. Well worth it.

Bit funny that I saw Melissa George's debut in Dark City last night and then she appeared in this one as well Laughing

If you haven't seen The Nice Guys, that's well worth checking out. Hilarious and awesome movie. Zootopia was also great. Can't really remember what else I've seen...I'm waiting to watch Hail Caesar when that becomes more available.

Had my annual rewatch of Spirited Away. Love that movie <3

Loved Dark City as well, but wasn't too fond of the ending if I remember correctly.

Was the only relevant way to end it. Other ending could have been "an experiment in Area 51" or something.

btw someone pls watch triangle. Need to discuss the ending. pos director said it's open to interpretation ffs

Nah. The first half of it only.

Just came home from Star Trek. Really, really liked it. The ending was tainted for me by a married couple and their kids just walking in with 15 minutes left and just talking loudly. I started screaming 'get the f out of here' and they just kept talking. I was so close to throwing them out.

That sounds awful. Thankfully have not experienced something that bad.

If I watch star trek beyond without watching any previous ones. Will that work?

Yeah, I don't see any problem with it. It's always better to watch them. And they're both good movies, the first one is great even.

Forgot much of the first one (not that I didn't think it was great), but might do that back to back to back for Star Trek if everything lays out well.

The movies (2009 onwards) are an alternate universe, so there's no need to watch them. I haven't either.

My 2 cents.

1.Zootopia
2.Lobster
......
That's it. Havent watched anything else. silent Did Black Mass come out this year. Watched it too. But even then, its pretty awful I know.
I think I have lost it. The interest and passion to watch movies. Sad Torrent sites getting banned one by one in India also had an impact.
