Re: The Movie House - Part 7
I've been waiting for this for a long time. Man it was supposed to be release in 2015 but they moved it almost a whole year.

Looks a little over the top tbh.
The documentary was really good. This will end up fantasizing the entire thing imo.

Vikander has been cast as Lara Croft. What a perfect, yet uninspired casting.

Re: The Movie House - Part 7
Also apparently Daisy Ridley being cast was completely bullshit. She got a meeting, but wasn't in contention because of the similarity to her Star Wars role from what I've reading.
Was my comments on it also. Even though I think she'd do an amazing job in the role, because we've seen her do it.

My personal choice was Camilla Ludington but I'm 100% satisfied with Vikander

+1 JGL trying to talk like Snowden
Think this is gonna flop. Will do Snowden (the man himself) and the story injustice ffs I loved Citizenfour

I don't what's so funny about his voice. It sound really good.
I don't thinks it's going to flop. Seems like Snowden likes it, since he retweeted it.
Docs and fiction films are two different things that excel in different areas. The documentary was good at getting all the facts straight (as much as the director allowed, you can never know everything in the film world). This fiction version is really important though. By making it more dramatic etc. it can get the average movie goer to check out this case, which has a huge importance for basically every person in the world. Documentaries are not for everyone and sometimes it's great when a documentary and a fictionalised movie can co-exist.

Re: The Movie House - Part 7
I get that. I'm not too big on documentaries myself, but Citizen Four was very interesting.
I just think that even from a casual movie fan's pov, the trailer doesn't look that great. Not as slick as the context demands imo.

@Freeza That's the thing, I just hope they actually do coexist and complement each other. But going by the trailer I am worried about that.

Re: The Movie House - Part 7
I think you guys are judging it too harsh on the trailer. I loved Citizenfour also and if you listen to JGL voice in that trailer he's trying to make it deeper like Snowden's was in Citizenfour. But I think content wise, Freeza has it right. This whole leaking thing with Snowden is very important and it will educate people who don't really know much about it or if they don't care for documentaries.

Re: The Movie House - Part 7
I'm sure I'm going to think it's awesome regardless, I just hope that the rest of the world thinks so too.
Don't want this to be the beginning and end of Warcraft movies
Not to mention if those were successful, Blizzard are such money grubbing hoes that they could potentially do a Starcraft movie or two.
My entire childhood makes me so happy just thinking about it. I've waited for this for so long

All comic book films are pretty much cinema films
The founder: The story of McDonald's founder, Ray Kroc.
Free State of Jones sounds decent. Let's see how it does

Trailer for Founder looked great, pls go. Unsure on Jones, there's hardly any hype on it but the cast and story looks good.
