This kind of came out of a discussion I was having with a friend of mine, and we have a similar topic in the Liverpool section (just 'players to watch') really.

But mostly I brought it up because of this Ousmane Dembele kid that's lighting up L1 right now. All the top teams are ready to offer huge money for him and he's only 18 years old. Maybe the next Neymar, but more of a striker...two footed, great dribbler, and an absolute phenom.

I guess it's also worth putting Johannes Eggestein and Charly Musonda on here. Eggestein is really a ridiculous talent and Musonda has been electrifying in La Liga so far.

Früchtl was already 1,90m with a shoe size of about 60 when he was 15 (just turned 16 now).

So CLEARLY he's the biggest next thing.

Oh, you mean at 18 or 19 he could be as tall as Thibaut Courtois?

BTW, I heard good things about him, even though I haven't had the fortune to watch him yet. But I'll be keeping my fingers crossed that he'll continue his good development!

Agreed with Ceballos and Asensio. Never watched the other two.

I'm not very up to date with youngsters right now. At Barça we have Aleñá, Dani Morer and Lee who I have high hopes for, but they are currently playing at Juvenil and are a bit below their development if they are to be stars.

Ceballos will be Spain's next great midfielder if he develops properly.

Santi Mina, provided Neville doesn't ruin him by the end of the season.

Also Seba Cristoforo has the makings of a complete midfielder.

Not sure about Asensio he has been rather average for Espanyol in the games I have watched but his ball technique and vision are quite good

Ceballos meh. Dude has played like everywhere from attack to midfield not be impressed with him in any position.

Vallejo i have not seen

Mayoral is better than Morata was at this age. In every single department apart from strength. It remains to be seen if his mental strength is as good to develop into the player he could be

Luca Zidane is progressing nicely. Looks like he will become this new false GK who is as good on his feet as he is with his hands

I cant think of any other RM who i think will bexome a hit. Marcos Llorente may but he needs to stop being happy to sit on our bench and go somewhere where he will get regular first team football like Diego Llorente

Gonna go ahead and throw Christian Pulisic's name in the mix. 17-year old American from Hershey, Pennsylvania playing in Dortmund's first team after only 15 games with their academy. He also captained the USA at the U-17 WC.

He's a #10 with a good amount of pace, excellent feet and changes direction with ease....2 of those things are not something you learn on this side of the pond. That's what makes him our top prospect for the future. He's grandfather's Croatian so he holds dual citizenship with Croatia, but ultimately chose USA over their national team.

6 caps already for Dortmund. He's definitely one to look for when watching Dortmund. Really fascinating to see a Yank getting time with a top team like this at such a young age. Looks legit from what I saw of him at the WC.

I guess if McLewis mentions Christian Pulisic, one needs to add Felix Passlack, captain of the German U17 NT. He may only have gotten 2 caps with Dortmund yet, but he got last year's Fritz Walter Medal in Gold and is hailed as one of the Next Big Things [tm], too.

Klopp has hailed 19 year old Liverpool Brazilian 'Allan' Rodriguez de Souza to be a big player in the future. We just signed him this past summer. Apparently a technical CM with high mobility (just how MT likes them). He's been on loan this season first in Norway (where he won the title) and now in Belgium. Established himself as a started on both loans right now despite his young age.
