I didn't say the foreigners were taking the nursing jobs. RG said they are all quitting the nursing jobs and I said if they don't want the jobs then just train British people to do them.VivaStPauli wrote:How come you guys that think foreigners are taking yer jerrbs are always the same guys who also tell us that all foreigners are welfare queens?

Eastern Europe is poor AF because you can't dial back Soviet occupation in two or three short decades, not because ze Germans are stealing yer treasure, mateys. Eastern Germany would be a dystopian hellhole if the West hadn't been sinking trillions into it over the past 27 years. And it's still not great there.
Western Europe is also struggling. Italy,Spain, Portugal all of them could use a much lowered currency which will actually reflect their economy. Germany is having unfair advantage due to Euro , thata a facta.
Re: Brexit: Should the UK stay or go?
no one wants them because they don't get paid properly. They don't get paid properly because of immigrants who will work for less.LeVersacci wrote:Literally the same here in DK. I don't know about nurse jobs but in general no one wants those jobs. That's why immigrants take them yet people complain about itFirenze wrote:Nobody wants those jobs. Nurses get paid like shite in comparison to the demands. Unbelievably difficult and frustrating job. Always believed they deserved much better pay. Maybe once we get that 350m a week we'll save from leaving the EU.
Re: Brexit: Should the UK stay or go?
If U.S/Europe let in the programmers and engineers that India and China are producing each year then you entitled lot also will be crying for immigration ban. That's a facta.

Since when did the NHS started recruiting foreign nurses because they will have to pay them less? Specially when that is illegal?

Wages will otherwise rise and your government is stopping it by hiring foreigners because the money comes from government.
Does the government give a *bleep* about wages rising of a programmer? No. Because government is not paying.

What? It makes no difference to the government whether a nurse is hired from within the UK or from somewhere like Spain. They are both going to be paid exactly the same. The government is forced to hire nurses because of the shortage in the country. It doesn't affect the national minimum wage whatsoever which the government imposes.

So the doctors and nurses are not paid by government?

Then what I said stands.
Who gets paid on minimum wages? . I'm not saying immigrants gets paid below minimum wage. I'm saying if it was a free market the Nurses wage should've been much higher than it is now and many more Brits will become nurses bcz of high pay but since government is paying the nurses and since they don't have unlimited budget they instead brings foreigners and keeps the wages from rising. Hence denies free market Economics and denies the Brit nurses the wage they deserve.
If wages are good enough many Brits will come , don't worry about that. That's how free market works in every other sectors, its not any different for nurses.

Le Pen says results of Brexit are "fantastic''
Hamon and Fillon both tell Le Pen to hold off on judgment on results of Brexit
Macron says Fillon is right, citing his name for the first time. "Mr. Fillon is totally right" and the first negative results will start to show in the U.K. after Brexit. Fillon nods at Macron and says: "they're right in the middle of it"
