Not even better than Kommander's performance in Euro finals but it was alright I guess.

People in the media love being prisoners of the moment, plus i don't care how well known they are but all the people Bankz mentioned are utter morons.
Especially Gerrard.

Yeah it was good, quite good but the very best? Really? Grown men still getting on like little children to hyperbole. Redondo vs Utd, Kaka vs Utd, Messi vs Madrid 2011, Messi's 4 goals vs Arsenal, Ronaldo (Brasilian) vs Utd, Lewa vs Madrid all are more memorable performances than Neymar's.

The best
It wasn't even a classic performance in the sense of dominating from start to finish. He just had a good game and then an extremely clutch 7 minutes.

Re: Neymar Watch Vol. II
Lol, Its funny how some people now brings up some random big player who scored 'X' number of goals during a game where the team were not in any danger of loosing, expected to make such a huge come back, or at least weren't in any danger of a hopeless elimination. Heck, non of those game were given 0 odds by uèfa and by that logic i could even bring up better games by neymar himself, but this is different, this is more significant than anything else any of u can bring up, this was a 4-0 deficit in the cl, this was a game that needed 3 goals in a 6 minute span.
Those 7 minutes will probably trump anything u can bring up. He won a penalty for the 3rd goal, scored a fk for the 4th goal, scored a pk for the 5th goal, and assisted for the 6th goal. All in thesame time frame.
Like i said, neymar will forever be remembered by the man who orchestrated the greatest comeback of all time, while having one of the clutchest moments in cl history. Something that will never be said of those players mentioned above.

Re: Neymar Watch Vol. II
Among those hipstster stat padding names mentioned, only c ronaldo and stevie G has a legitimate case for this kind of comparision tbh and even that (against wolfsburg) was 2 goals down, not 4, didnt need to come back again after conceeding an away goal, didnt need 3 goals in a few minutes, not thesame thing tbh but Only he and gerrard comes close.

People are gonna remember Neymar's performance the same way people remember Albert Luque's performance vs Milan in the 4-0 win against them.

Re: Neymar Watch Vol. II
Not the greatest performance ever obviously, but he is fully deserving of all the praise he is receiving from many. And sorry to say, imo, in this single game Neymar showed more leadership than I can recall Messi showing in recent memory, to that extent at least. And while dribbling from half line to score an amazing goal to win a game is utterly fantastic and breathtaking, it's not the level of leadership Neymar displayed against PSG.
Think about this, in exactly which world and/or sport does the best player to ever (to many) play the game, who is also the primary penalty taker for his team, playing in a game of that importance dare allow someone else to step up and take that spot kick? That simply doesn't ever happen - not ever. It's disappointing, puzzling and highlighted for everyone who cares to look at things objectively, the one glaring flaw in Messi's very complete game. He simply isn't a leader. And that will always be the one thing people will point to when discussing the GOAT. And for very good reason, as that's probably the very reason he hasn't won a major trophy with Argentina as yet.

Great performance by Neymar. Honestly, it looked like he was the only one in the entire stadium who truly believed that a comeback in that 7 minute is possible. You see its written all over his face. A true leader, surely many more to come for him.

While i agree with you that Messi is not well known for his leadership ability (we clearly saw it in the last worldcup) i would disagree with your rest of the comments. Giving the penalty to Neymar can rather be a good decision. None of Messi and Neymar are great penalty takers. Messi already took one and the keeper could have read him while taking the second in the same game. He ensured the goal by giving it to neymar and i think thats a very good leadership.

Re: Neymar Watch Vol. II
I wish Neymar came to Madrid. He is El Kommanders Heir and he has his mentality, not shrinking when the going gets tough like that HGH tax cheat. Messi has shown he needs elite talent to do anything and disappers when the going gets tough. You could see he shrank during that game and did nothing.
Neymars performance is the second best in the history after El Kommander's performance against Wofsburg.

At this moment in time, neymar is the best footballer on the planet (at least in 2017) posting 10/10 performances game after game and even the media outlets are starting to acknowledge it, goals or no goals. Meanwhile Brazil thrashed Uruguay away 4-1 to qualify for th world cup with a 7 point lead. Neymar with his 51st goal and 37th assist in 76 games. Pure filth

Wonderful. Neymar once again, unstoppable. He's improving every year. Been a little quiet in the start of the season but now he's showing great improvements in his game.

Another great game from him.
He needs to stop doing that BS paradinha when he takes a penalty though.

Bloody hell, Neymar does whatever he wants. The best player in the world, 2017.
He has now scored 52 goals for brazil equalling Pele for the most goals scored by the age of 25 (intl) The best international player, by some distance.

Re: Neymar Watch Vol. II
So let's get this straight.
First he has an embarrassing miss from 2 yards.
Then he dives for a penalty.
That penalty he misses, not for the first time, while doing his moronic run up.
He then scores a fantastic solo goal involving him being allowed to run 30 yards with the ball unchallenged and then scoring from a deflection.
Then he rolls round for a minute on the pitch for nothing and kicks out at a Paraguayan repeatedly.
Best player in the world tho
Let's face it, he'll never gain the respect and admiration of a player like Messi because he simply lacks the class.

Re: Neymar Watch Vol. II
Hans, quit your BS.
He dribbled two Paraguayans before he was "allowed to run unchallenged". He didn't dive for the penalty; The defender got the ball first but he also knocked Neymar over afterwards. And the Paraguayans were kicking the shit out of him the entire game. I don't think he'll ever be the best in the world as long as Messi is still playing but he had a damn good game.
He's still a little punk, nobody can deny that. But it looks like Messi is learning from him as opposed to the other way around.

Re: Neymar Watch Vol. II
Neymar to be given 3 game ban on tuesday morning, though the incident is not included in the referee report, a video footage was reviewed by the competition committee, however, barca will appeal on wednesday for a fine to be given as an appropriate punishment instead but chances are next to zero on this matter - Marca.
Serves him right tbh, how stupid could he be, just at the finest point of his career and when the media had rightfully begun to acknowledge him and at this crucial point in the season, worse of all knowing that this is an offence taking quite seriously in spain, when even ronaldo didnt get away with it, neither did carlo. God, this guy reminds me so much of maradona and romario tbh, such flawed geniuses.

It was actually included in the referee report. Barcelona have no chance overturning this ban. LFP have set a precedent when it comes to banning players for referee abuse. He will learn, he is very immature right now though

Re: Neymar Watch Vol. II
Precedent as in Ronaldo was given 3 games, Carlo was given 2 games etc
He can say what he likes. Just like with our Copa exit last season the LFP have no choice but to follow their previous punishments. Especially for the big 2 because shit stirring from them gets LFP unwanted attention. We all know they are incompetent
