Well it went relatively well i guess .

Was particularly happy with Romagnoli today , was extra careful with Poli and Zapata near him , made good passes , made himself available , positioned well when defending , though the opposition wasn't anything big , they still played a very focused and intense game . He did very well tonight and was confident in his ability .

Anyway , not that much to take home and talk about , pleased we rest some players and played some others who needed to play . We won and it's a fine result for the 2nd game , end of February iirc (right?).

don't believe i am saying this but , it will be a good opportunity to give some minutes to Menez , if hopefully he's ready by then. I was grateful for all his goals last season but i don't think i was fair with him tbh , i used to moan a lot about him

this season reminded me a lot how much we need someone like him , dude simply wasn't passing it because we were playing like sacks of meat moving around last time , even Jack wasn't playing like this season

i mean his vision is obvs quite poor but he don't have to be like that again , at least now Jack and Bacca are doing things

i really hope he gets back as soon as possible and hopefully get back in form without any more shenanigans . Top of his game Menez , he's instantly the man to play next to the fisherman
