Surprising as it may seem, the club appointed a manager to get results and move us up the table, not hand hollow minutes to miscellaneous teenagers. I'm all for giving peripheral players a go when the established ones aren't doing the business, but when they do – as they emphatically did today – there can't be any contesting their selection.

If youth, though, gives you so much of a hard-on as to call for the removal of a manager we've so far secured 8 points under in the 12 since his appointment, maybe Crewe Alexandra or the like would be a better destination for you

Short mindedness won't get us far especially with the state of the EPL with lower tier clubs all powering up with spending money.

Weren't you the one who wanted him to stay?

I was the one who wanted an unneeded shift in stability half way through the season.

Wanted it to be either 7/8 games before it actually happened or end of the season.
