Making it past the Heat in round 2 would be huge and deserving of credit though. The Heat are looking great so far.

Yeah I like what I see from Miami, hard to really tell how good they are though. Mainly because while I think Charlotte are a good team they are a very small team so Whiteside is obviously going to feast plus they can't stop Wade from getting into the lane.

We'll see if this translates in the next couple of rounds.

It's hard to tell for me too because the Heat right now are just making shots, a lot of them haven't even been bad defense. They were one of the top 5 worst 3pt shooting teams by percentage, but they are shooting over 50%... won't last.

Even today they got a 5-6 from Deng, a career 33% 3pt shooter. Take that away and they went 2-16 as a team.

Didn't even hear about it. Only series I've kept up with score wise in the playoffs so far is the Raptors series since I've already put my opinion out there on them potentially winning the East so now I'm invested.

Good to hear that though. I'm not sure how he's been this year, has anyone watched Charlotte enough to know? I always thought Frank going as high as he did in the draft was a bit odd, same with Dekker. They're good enough to be NBA players but I didn't think, and still don't think, either will ever become starters or something tbh. Role players was how I thought it would go for both of them. Frank has the ability and is obviously quite tall but he lacks on defense, if he can improve that then we might see good things from him--he's already shown the ability to drastically improve in his college career.

Pretty much like you said, his defense kept him from getting consistent minutes all season but he's been better lately. Not right now but I could see him eventually starting somewhere in the right pot, like with a rim protecting PF next to him.

He'll be fine imo, just looked like he slipped. He'll shake it off. He left under his own power anyway, i'd be concerned if he had to be carried off the court.

Curry could miss the rest of this series and they would still win imo.. He needs to be healthy next series though

Maybe, if Houston actually try they can make it interesting without Curry though. That's the problem with them other than the fact they are not all that their effort is disgusting most of the time.

It's been good so far tonight though....

It's not about just being healthy. His whole rhythm is off. He was in unbelievable form all season right up to 20 minutes of game 1 and then bam. Now he's gotto get his sharpness back. Next few games could have done that but bam another injury concern.
