Because Lebron thinks he can go ISO against everyone, shot 10-26 ( he shot terribly in the finals too) don't beat this team like this.

You have to move the ball, not try and go 1 v 1 it just doesn't work.

There's no *bleep* way Cavs win the chip this year. They wouldn't win more than 1 game vs Spurs.

Just like last year, Spurs are the only team standing in our way. Got lucky they choked it in the first round last year, but that WCF is gonna be insane.

Obviously Cavs will get better as Kyrie regains top form. But still, Dubs have Barnes also waiting to come back. Kerr will be back some time in the season I imagine, and defensively we'll only get stronger this season. Can't see Cavs beating Dubs in a finals series. Nah. Maybe at most win 2 games again. They focus too much on shutting down Curry and that's obviously way too disrespectful to the rest of the team which is great.

Spurs will be tough. Their team play is the closest thing that can undo the GSW.

Both teams had an awful shooting night, only Livingston with his restricted minutes was on top of it

D'angelo Russell gotta man up and stop being efficient on offense. We can't have our top scorer in a game shoot above 50%

Barnes.. A role player

Barnes is a great player tbh

Didn't see anything impressive about the Cavs. Never really have honest

Barnes is not just a role player. He's very important to that special small line up we have. Livingston has been filing in for him late in the game in that line up and it hasn't been close to the level it is with Barnes. Reason being he's much stronger than Livingston when he moves to defend the 4 and can shoot 3s very efficiently, something Livingston can't do.

He's also very important when the starters go to the bench and he plays at the start of 2nd and 4th quarters as the main offensive threats. He's very good at getting his shot in the post and can shoot very well.

Currently our second unit at the beginning of 2nd and 4th quarters always always *bleep* up our leads. They have no consistent offensive threat.

I usually call 4th option or lower a role player, and Barnes is just that. He has a role to play on both offense and defense. Role player isn't a negative term at all. Think he's going elsewhere, because he can prob do more with more opportunities.

Well he was our 3rd best player after Draymond and Steph until he got injured. Klay was ass until Barnes got injured and he had to step up more.

But I agree, role player isn't a negative thing, but LeSalty implied it in a derogatory tone as if Barnes is Brendan Rush or Ian Clarke or someone that just comes in to play garbage minutes.

Steph and Caspi just had a 3 point shootout in the game

They both hit 5 threes back to back to back to back in the last 3 minutes of the quarter.

That was insane

Steph didn't score a single point in until he scored 17 points in 3 minutes

He's obviously in decline, it's only natural though and his first two years in Miami were clearly the height of his powers. That block from Pau earlier in the season would have never happened the year he won his first championship, not a chance in hell.

Besides, he doesn't need his jumper to dominate.. He's still more athletic than 99% of the league and has arguably the highest bball IQ

Nah going into the finals he was shooting badly as well, was getting comparisons to AI when it comes to efficiency. He had multiple games of shooting like 10-30 or worse against the Bulls, but his team mates where lights out for some reason and Shumpert couldn't miss.

As for the rest i never denied any of that and i'm not saying he's bad all of a sudden lol, just not his decline is obvious. Not exactly anything wrong with it either, most players as they get beyond 30 decline in many different facets its just how it is.

You just have to look at how many layups he blows on drives tbh, things that never would have happened even two years ago. He's still a great player but you are lying to yourself if you can't see him slowly entering a state of a decline.

It would take scrubbing it up in the playoffs (not just shooting bad, but all around bad play) to convince me that something is up.. Until then he's still the same basically, still GOAT
