i didn't like dwight's dunks either. i felt one of them, he threw it rather than dunked it. but these two. this was insane, and on the first try. they ran out of ideas because they maxed out.

Gordon is a PF. Usually considered big men. He's a little bigger than Draymond I believe, who was in the "big man" skills comp. Blake Griffin is another good example. To me it's more about weight than height up to a certain degree.

Tonight showed the problem with the 50 point system, there's dunks there that were better than the other.

But all of them are 50s so it's hard to differentiate.

I thought Gordon was 6'9" and Howard was 6'11"? That's what it says on my app.. But yeah weight has a lot to do with it like dmize said.. I consider true big men 6'10" and up in terms of height

that spinning mascot dunk....should have been more than 50, also that one where he almost sat in the air too. but both were great, i was beginning to lose interest in the dunk contest. especially when people have to make 3 plus attempts to get it

agreed the Dwight and Blake years was all props and a popularity contest.

DeRozan was better then Blake but lost because Blake was the NBA's shiny new toy and DeRozan was playing on a shit Raptors team back then and nobody knew him.

All dunks combined I think it was a tie. Final dunks were a slight edge to Gordon who also had the best dunk overall. That under legs dunk was insane. Think it's the best dunk contest dunk ever.

This plus the one I posted before are better than anything Lavine did.

Lavine basically got lucky because it turned into a battle of 50s because dunk to dunk they were inferior to what Gordon was doing.

Also there's no way in hell that Lavine's last dunk was a 50 if Gordon's wasn't.

Have the best dunks and don't win rofl

LaVine's dunk right after that spinning mascot one was the same shit.. He came right back at him.. It was even more difficult to be honest.. Throwing an oop to yourself is always harder

LaVine's first dunk was not far behind the sit down dunk.. It actually looks nicer imo

imo there was no robbery. anyone could have won it between those two. they both could even have had 50s earlier, but i liked dr o neal's strictness- u only get a perfect on one attempt. gordon had the most beautiful dunks, but zach kept pace and his win was justified....i'd have given it to both of them. they saved the contest. the other contestants were just there to complete the numbers

I thought Gordon got robbed as well. Gordon had the best dunk of the evening as well as the second best dunk.

Those (not) freethrow line dunks for LaVine got repetitive and weren't as impressive as 2 of Gordon's dunks.

I gotto say I enjoyed this AS Saturday night a lot. Good banter and fun. Best one in years.
