The way Ancelotti fumbled la liga 2015, and failed to dominate in italy with a legendary stacked team, i put nothing past him

He did win in that weaker league though
If you mean when he took over in January, then yeah i suppose he might've fallen short (3pts), but still, its tough when a coach first comes and sees which player is worth the salt, trying out plsyers and structuring the team in a specific way. Hence, next season, made QFs and went toe to toe with Barca.

That's a poor excuse considering they were above Bordeaux when he took over.
There's no excuse for not winning it that year, they would have done if they didn't sack the previous coach for no reason.

No can csurely claim that 100%
I did admit he felt short, not justifying it or an excuse, just adding mitigating circumstances to take into consideration
