all jokes aside and no trolling here but man u have one of the most expensive squads in the world and in the top 3 highest wage bills in the world but in reality how many truly world class players do you have. you are paying players like ibra and sanchez close to 900k per week for what. you spend like 80mil on martial and he dont get games because sanchez plays and he is finished. da gay is your only world class talent imo. you have more scrubs than liverpool and thats saying something. pogba is a good player but he is not a world beater and goes missing as often as wally. lukaku gets his goals but again goes missing in the big games and only beats on scrub teams. tbh you are a million miles away from city and the big problem you have is you will start next season with the same manager and the big money players you have will also start because they cost so much you have to play them. getting mourinho and paying so much for players was pure panic tbh.

Mourinho is a genius tbh, he makes the entire world think the players are not good enough and doesn't have enough talent to compete.

Ask yourself before Pep arrived how many of City's starting XI was considered world class? probably Aguero and Silva and that's about it.

Ask yourself the same question about Pochettino and Spurs, who were most of their players before him?

Mourinho is an absolute fraud who hides behind the excuses afforded to him due to past glories.

i agree that jose is holding them back but how many of the man u players would get into the top teams in the world.

It's almost as if when you play completely defensive minded players like Fellaini and Matic, you may just invite a team to have the ball and take it towards your goal

Spending 120M on Pogba and being unable to accommodate him in your team...

The list goes on but the result is the same: Sevilla utterly deserved the match and the tie itself from the beginning of the first leg up until the final whistle in the second leg. United never had a foot in this tie. They made no adjustments after the first leg, if anything they got worse and while some may have said that away to Sevilla is a tricky match, home in Manchester should be quite clear.

The response from conceding was absolutely appalling too, you could tell the United players knew they lost from the moment the first goal went in

Starting Fellaini when he hadn't started a game in 3 months just shows the cowardice. We've been playing McTomwinay lately with Matic and he's been playing very well.

Inter has tremendous financial backing from Suning, as much or more than any team that's not financed by a sovereign wealth fund, like PSG, and manager's salaries are not included in FFP calculations. That's not an issue. It's whether Inter management believe Mou would be good for Inter in the long term.

Mou makes great points/facts about expectations and reality BUT it's not getting dumped in the R16 that tells the entire story, it's parking the bus against a team that probably cost Pogba + Lukaku money, if that. You can't justify your play style and results by the past because Sevilla should not be at Uniteds level. He never got dumped out by Barca.

League wise, he's right though. Core of Citys team from previous seasons has WC players, United had donkeys mostly.

But his 'style' of play clearly doesn't work if it makes superior players look like amateurs against a weak Sevilla.
