Also I hope someone smashes Alba's face. Embarrassed that this talentless rat is wearing the Blaugrana. Acting like a tough guy against people twice his size. Do it outside the stadium you sewer rat.

Re: Arsenal Vs Barcelona (CL 2015/16)
Was anyone doubting that Barcelona would go through? Arsenal may have been able to limit it to 0-1 or even a 0-0 if they had parked the bus, but as soon as they started playing EPL attacking football late, they were doomed. Even with a draw, Barcelona was always going to go through after Camp Nou. But a draw would have made the next game a little more interersting.
As Mertesacker said post-game.
“We took more risk and obviously then they scored."

Re: Arsenal Vs Barcelona (CL 2015/16)
I thought Arsenal played very well. Sure they need improvement, but so does Barca. Both teams sucked at finishing.
I hate it when we have to play Arsenal, cuz I want them to go far in the competition, and if Barca gets knocked out, I always want Arsenal to win it. I know, i know, probably not realistic, but I consider Arsenal as my second team after Barca.

If they had been just a little bit more clinical, they could've gone through with a significant advantage. Giving away a pointless penalty late in the game, due to the actions of one individual didn't do them any favours either. I don't think anyone doubted that Barcelona would go through, but I'm pretty sure most people didn't expect Arsenal to create the biggest chances of the game and keep it level throughout the majority of the match.

Biggest chances of the game?
You mean "biggest chance", as in Oxlade Chamberlain's?
No other Arsenal chance was that good, and obviously not as good as Messi's goals, Suarez header, Neymar's missed 1on1 or MSN combination that Suarez could have buried but instead tried to pass back to Messi, towards the end of the first half.
It was a deserved win, although Arsenal should have probably scored 1.

Except they did, but apparently the FA Cup doesn't count.
Arsenal (4-2-3-1): Ospina; Chambers, Mertesacker, Koscielny, Gibbs; Flamini, Elneny, Campbell, Iwobi, Welbeck, Walcott.
2 players from the CL team were in the starting line up.
Barcelona (4-3-3): Bravo; Alves, Mathieu, Mascherano, Alba; Arda, Roberto, Iniesta; Messi, Suarez, Neymar.
7 players from the CL team in the starting line up.
Not to mention Arsenal were playing at home during the weekend and Barcelona were gone playing away in Africa.
Re: Arsenal Vs Barcelona (CL 2015/16)
So Arsenal bothered rotating while Barcelona didn't. If Barca were also well rested, they would have won 10-0 instead of 2-0. Fine, we get it.
It's like beating a dead horse. Honestly don't see why this is such a big issue here.

sri, I wasn't intending to imply anything. I was merely addressing RealGunner's comment about fatigue.

I dont think it is an issue, just that the comment was brought back after someone said Barca tired Arsenal, which was not true, especially since Barca were probably the one who would get tired as Barca had a bit more tiresome game beforehand. At least that is how I understand it.

If there was any other biggest chance from Arsenal you can say. Otherwise derail the discussion as you did. Cheeers.

Re: Arsenal Vs Barcelona (CL 2015/16)
im just very happy with the result. we never left the 2nd gear and it was enough for us to get the win. arsenal were dangerous but they are no match if we speed it up and go 100%. we didnt go 100% because we are playing sevilla on sunday wich is a very important match, because also the two madrid's are playing eachother. if we take the 3 points there and they have a draw, we are very very close to winnig the league. with this in our hands, we can rest some key players in la liga matches for CL because we can afford to lose the points. all in all we were very professional and got the job done with minimum effort.
when pique takes a deliberate yellow card because the tie is over, you just know we arent taking the tie seriously. we dont need to. we will progress, take the lead higher in the next few week in the league and can then focus on CL a bit more.

Tbh I wouldn't take a tie serious when the main man of the other team is Giroud
Seriously why Arsenal didn't buy a top striker over the last few years I really can't understand.. and to think they could have bought Suarez.. oh well.

Arsenal are absolutely dreadful. Was that Koscielny thinking he is an attacker by trying to dribble past 3 Barca players. Fcking knobhead
